You are talking stupdid! Dont say we are developed from tamil nadu... You maybe from that place... this kind statments are what provokes the people... talk like an educated guy... We get electricity for which we are paying.. its not free. And iam also not saying that we shud not give water... Rationatist, you should get Nobel price for litrature for your great saying "Tamil have poorer scipt than Kannada".
First look at your script which shares from Telugu, But Tamil has independent script.
And Tamil has lot more quality and also the mother language of all Dravidian languages including Kannada, thats why it is recoganized as Classical Language.
You know one thing, Kannada has 40% of pure Tamil word, thats why we are telling it is derived from Tamil. Like that all Dravidian languages has some percentages of pure ancient Tamil words. Even the word 'Karnataka' is derived from the Tamil word "Karu Naadu Agam".
Even Tamil has own numbers from which only the Indo-arbic numbers have been derived.

firstly u should get a nobel prize for your poor knowledge of tamil and India, and what ever. You should be awarded for abusing tamil.
Educate yourself that Telgu is derived from Kannada, same with tamil too. Kannada is the source of all south indian languages. The stength of any language is determined by the number of goons who use it, no wonder tamil is so famous.
Before you state facts for any lanugage/culture/any subject please educate yourself anough about it, and dont create a garbage here as you have already done.

Entire World accepted that Tamil is the mother language of all Dravidian languages, so we are not expecting you or kannadia to say.
Tamil has litratures written before 2000 years ago, but the Kannada doesn't even has litratures written before 1000 years(If you have something of that sort please reveal it to the world, then the world will accept). And no other dravidian language has such a old and rich litratures.
This is the proof for Tamil is older and elder than all.
One more, I would like to state here. The researchers identified that the language of Indus Valley Civilization(oldest civilization in India before Aryans, sanskrit) is Tamil. Read the below link to know about that.

Anyone can post messages in wiki, those are posted by kannadiga.
Real thing is Tamil got the classical status already by providing enough proof, but kannada is still begging for that, why? it is because of lack of quality to become classical language.

Does all these greatness make Kannada to b derived from Tamil as u claim? Including or not including Kannada to google doesnt make Kannada great or lesser.It is great by itself. The other Indian languages are introduced based on just population,not greatness they what they r worried abt. FIY kannada has one of the richest literaures with highest Jhnanpeet awardees. Also achivements of Tamils is more than than Kannadigas. That may b as TN is densely populated compared to KA(area of TN=2/3 of KA; population 1.5times KA). The competiton as result gets the best of them which is lacking in KA(drawback). Whereever they go out they find the place better than TN & settle down. Anyway v r not jealous of ur accolades. Even with all these u cant change History. Kannada is as old as Tamil & is independent. It has lent its script to various languages. Just bcos more no of people claim doesnt make it true. The truth is Kannada is also a classical language & the union doesnt want 2 accept for obvious reasons.

thanks for u r support srinivas.. the main problem is the people who have born here doesnt the importance of bundh whihc is taking place. If i had the power i would have stopped water supply for a week here in bangalore. then atleast people will come to know how scarce is water here. people here (from other states) think that we are creating bundh only just to create voilence. that is not the case. and every citizen in bangalore or karnataka should participate in the protest. thanks for ur support again srinivas..

Dont worry man. In Thanjavur, tamilnadu people are living without waters for long time starved by karnataka. so may be the bangaloreans may be new to life without water, but not new to people who are affected by this cauvery issue
Before this cauvery issue got prominence, I was sceptical about "The next world war will be over water," said Vice President Ismail Serageldin of the World Bank. But now after reading the postings about this issue it was crystal clear as daylight. Indians are such selfish people, a quality they disclose at times of crisis. Forget about state divisions, they will slaughter among themselves if needed for their family, they will fight for individual needs within the family. So pathetic is the state of an Indian in future.

Firstly, it would be advisable to know what is respect is called for? If a person doesn%u2019t speak Hindi, then it doesn%u2019t meant that he hate Hindi and India. How rude are you to say that we don%u2019t respect Hindi. As per the History%u2019s saying, which, I think, our kannada brothers would be listening a single dam word, Tamil has a long history. We love Tamil and find no need to speak Hindi in Tamil nadu as we speak with out TN colleagues in Tamil and with others in English (Which is the Additional National Language). Agree to the fact instead of arguing. I had learnt Hindi in 6 months to speak and write without any difficulties. I didn%u2019t regret for that. Who has said you that we don%u2019t watch hindi movies. Just remember brother, there so many theatres in Chennai and other cities in Tamil nadu which play Hindi movies. In some times, if a Hindi movies has been popular, we don%u2019t have problems. We are not like others, who had planned a blanket ban on Hindi movies to improve their regional movies which was going to die with only handful of people acting and only small groups are watching. If u first respect India, First accept the verdict and do your good work not instead of posting this type of wrong and unacceptable infos here. Sorry for not using soft and sweet words in the above reply.

And one more thing Mr. Wilson, it was only in your Bangalore city was there a ban on Non-Kannada movies in theatres sometime back. I was in Bangalore that time and I missed my Pune, me and my hindi colleagues were havin a real bad time coz this kinda rgionalism extremism has never happened anywhere in India before. I feel TN is much better in that regard, felt comfortable speakin in Hindi with hindi people when I went there and spoke English with non-hindi people there. Well done Chennai.

I am deeply saddened by the sordid state of minds of the people who are trying to protect and fight for the natural resource. Forget the fact you are kannadiga or a tamilian, we all are indians in first place. Where did the unity go?
Remember that we lost the nation to the British in a mind war and not in a battle. Kings were ready to do anything to ensure that the other kingdom got into the hands of British and eventually the British had the entire country with divide and rule policy.

Tamil nadu and karnataka are one of the important states in india.. for the past 50 years after our independence. its only the north indians who ruled this country for the majority of the years.. the reason beeing... those days it was a single party rule.. so ultimately congress or BJP or whatever.. ruled india.. which kept out south indians compleatly.. we were rejected..we were predomnatly ruled by nehrus,indras, moraji desais etc..(1st south indian PM was narashima rao..can u beleve it?) .. which forced us to ask for a separate country.. but it didnt happen... but please please note that only few years back india started having coalition government.. which allowed south indian MPs to slowly creep into power.. now look at the situation!...its only a matter of 10 yrs ..SIndians hold all important portfolios..Defence,Finance,Railways(ministry of state),Information technology,shipping,roadways etc etc.. all these are life lines.. here you should be matured enough. not to look at which state they hail from. now we get more mony during budgets for devoloping the states.. all the IT and automobile and Telecomunication companies are accumilated towards Sindia... if there is any thing called new india or rising india .. it is purely 100% bcos of Sindians... now i come to the point..Cauveri is the one of the main issue which divides Sindia's two important states.. there is no second opinon that it is a life line for 2 imp states Nindia.. wont have tis river problem.. as here are many.. but they will perish due to communal clashes.. which is the shame of india(Nindia. but we sindians dont have communal clashes etc WE ARE AT THE PEAK NOW.. IF WE MISS THE NOW.. IT WOULD BE TOO LATE.. IF WE LOOSE SOME ONE ELSE IS GOING TO GAIN.. IF TN AND KAR LOOSE A INVESMENT IT MAY GO TO MAHARASTRA..OR GUJ OR PUNJAB.. Kaja.....You suck man!! Its hard to believe there are ppl like you. If you want to put sindia together you can use some other argument rather than spreading hatred against (north,east,west,central)India. Well let me give you some facts... Karnataka and TN are not the only 2 most important states india ..the other 25 states are equally important..do you even know that we have these many states..or just another state called north india*.. moreover Karnataka and TN are not the only states that are growing you should really visit Navi Mumbai,Noida,Gurgaon, Gujrat, Punjab, Chandigarh,Jaharkhand,Orissa to see the development happening there. South India comprises of 15 % of indian population and we have had 2 prime ministers..from south..That's the fare share I guess..and .there is no denying from the fact that PVN Rao was one of the greatest the country have had...Its even hard to believe that why you complain of discrimination ..all the best Technical institutes (IISc and IITs) and medical institutes were started in southern part of India. And lastly about Hindi...Do you even know that in so called north indian states ...Bihar and UP.. there are 70% ppl who don't even know hindi but still every body wants to learn and speak....They all have their local languages called Bhojpuri..mathili ,magahi etc...but they have respect for the national language.. I really suggest you take India tour ..will open up your mind a bit... Its really sad that there are tensions between two great indian states..but ppl like you are not helping it...instead setting up stage for another fight..

first of all....who cares if you buy this argument or not? Even my state's language is not hindi, but we still respect hindi as our national language. I really don't know from where you got the history knowledge, I have completed my school, college education and also have read so many history books but i have never came accross what you said.
Most of my family members have served our nation in Army and some of them have even sacrified their lives for it. People like you who have not done anything in life apart from spreading hatred by misusing internet, have no right to mislead people.

But what u ought to know is that without these bandhs u cant fully get the justice. we are not causing any harm by bandh. infact lot of it companies functioned yesterday with full strength to support fo rbandh today. So we are professionals who also care for country. But India as a whole also need to know our problem as well. Can u tell me when u yourself wont have sufficient then is it logical for u to share with others? when water shortage is there we cant share thats it. we are not opposed to water sharing but only if we ourself find it sufficient enough for our needs. so get it right. we need to call for bandh to show our anger at the injustice meted to kannadighas. so time has come to show our anger and we have constitutional right to do it. so just sitting outside and telling/posting your comments is not enough. u ought to know kannadighas point of view. also let me remind u that if u think of good only then bad willtest u o the hilt. someimes bad, like bandh in this case, needs to be observed to show anger. we are not harming anyone, if they are good.
