What is happening to the Hindus of Pakistan is the systematic State sponsored extermination campaign against the Hindus there. Primarily with an eye on getting their property, Hindus have been systematically butchered by Islamic hordes ever since Independence with the result that they account for a mere below 1% of the population today vis-a-vis 12% at the time of independence. The best thing to do is to ask for a total exchange of population between India and Pakistan and let all the Urdu-speaking Muslims go to Pakistan and in turn we should take back all the Hindus there. Once for all by doing this we will be getting rid of the terrorist problem. The Muslims in India, you will note, are mostly engaged in illegal activities, viz., smuggling, narcotics, supari killing, jihadi terrorism, floating benami companies to acquire real estate in many states of Southern India, especially Kerala and Tamilnadu, etc. I would even go to the extent of suggesting that we could give them a part of Kashmir if the Pakis could take all the urdu speaking Muslims from India. I have lots of people (relative) in Pakis Sind and Gujarat state, you will not belive that they like MUSY Unlce like anything.. some few weeks back MUSY visited to one the temple inauguration. That sparks protest among other Parties, they started telling that this is for Election prepartion. But for anything He has courage to go to Temple and wish ther Pakis Hindu. ( like our Congress fellows). These things helping Hindus in Pak to stay there, instead to crossing to India. I have heard from our Hindu brothers that Hindus are more secured in Musy regime in comparsion to others ..One more reason is Hindu is not forcing any body to convert like christan.. I WISH LONG LIFE to MUSY.. Any one who will help our Hindu brother is our brother.... Even thogh how bad is He...

I think this is a very disturbing trend. Pakistan is an Islamic state with rampants Islamism (which is separate from Islam).
1. We Indians however should make sure that we are not guilty of the same crimes. I do not see the difference in the magnitude of the crimes that are religiously motivated. i.e the religious identity of the killer and the victim doesn't make the killing any less or more evil. Only if we ensure that hate crime in our society doesn't go unpunished can we make an issue about hate crimes in another country (even if it is a rival/hostile nation).
2. Why do Hindus still live in Pakistan? Like it or not Pakistan is not a secular country; it's an Islamic state that happens to have a history of supporting extremist Islamic radical principles. Non Mulsims who feel threatened should leave and start lives elsewhere. There is nothing stopping them seeking political asylum in India, where they could live relatively less stressful lives and get more opportunity.

Hi Aditya, Why shouldnot Hindus live in Pakistan . Why should not the Paki government provide the same security feeling to all its citizens . Just give the same advise of seeking political asylum to a Muslim in India. There will be a political uproar. Seeking a politcal asylum means leaving all that you have earned at a place which you thought was your home country and living elsewhere in mean conditions

Aditya, you are probably very young and since Indian Govt. to date have taught false history in their schools, your ignorance is perhaps excusable. (I was brought up in a British colony in Africa and so had an excellent education!)
But as an adult it is time for you to study history from sources other that school-textbooks and understand why there are Hindus in Pakistan.
Most of the Hindus have been forced to convert so that they could hang onto their ancestral properties.
Jinnah personally asked the poor landless hindu scavengers not to leave Pakistan as their labour was needed to keep the then capital Karachi clean!
Jinnah famously promised to respect all religious minorities. He was personally quite irreligious and only desired to have Muslims as bosses - the idea of Hindus as masters was repugnant to him - hence the need for his own state!
Dear Friends, One thing is that I always see pro-hindu article. I mean a lots of pro-hindu article. Hindutva, as stated by Supreme court of India, is a Social and not a militant movement. Its high time that we shift gear from Online soldiers of Hindutva TO Hindutva in practice. I mean we have to expose these government, I mean either Congress or BJP, if they do any anti-Hindu act. Government should realize that hindus will not stay silent now. Enough is Enough. Let's all of us pledge to devote sometime just for Hindutva cause. Mere writing online articles wont help. We have to take Hindutva to grass root level. We have to put an end to this "Secularism" (????).

See, the problem with Hindutva is that there are no stop gap measures to ensure that it won't turn into a radical organization (which it already is for the most part). How can we condemn Islamic or any other radicals when we beome that ourselves?
I do agree that we should organize and protect our cultural interests by keeping the philosophy alive, learn Sanskrit etc. But again, I see nothing in the movement so far that indicates these objectives. What I see is a bunch of thugs who want to enforce Hindu propaganda and use violence to humiliate all non Hindus. Don't get me wrong, I am by no means attempting to attack you personally; I just want to hear your thoughts on this matter.
