USA aught to realize that if there is one country which has been thoroughly ditched by USA then it is Pakistan (especially in the aftermath of post 9/11 Afghanistan %u2013 Iraq war) by airing meaningless friendly statements while not using its influence and clout in order to get crucially important Kashmir dispute solved. It is amazing to see the naiveté of USA which does not realize that:- (1)- Pakistan came into existence due to communal divide of pre -partition India. (2)- The fate of Musharraf or any other Pakistani leader ultimately depends on the resolution of Kashmir dispute and not so much on any other issue. (3)- Kashmir problem can not be solved unless Kashmir is unified. But Pakistan does not have adequate military power to snatch remaining J&K from India whereas communally biased %u2018Secular%u2019 India is simply not interested in retrieving its lost territory of Muslim majority Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK). (4)- After nearly 15 years long militancy in J&K (mostly fundamentalist in nature), Pakistan has made the solution of Kashmir problem mainly its own burden to India%u2019s glee and which Hindu majority India is enjoying immensely. (5)- Despite eternal peace talks and various misleading CBMs between India and Pakistan which are nothing but procrastinating techniques of India, the territories & sovereignty of India can not be effectively discussed and negotiated by any functionary of Government of India as he will be otherwise prosecuted for sedition under section 124-A of Indian Penal Code notwithstanding UN resolution on plebiscite. (6)- Otherwise also, apart from Indian Parliament%u2019s unanimous resolution (declaring entire J&K including POK as an integral part of India) if any body thinks otherwise then he does not know any thing about India - which is still not reconciled to its partition and continues to pine for %u2018Akhand Bharat%u2019 (integrated pre-partition India). (7)- Kashmiri militants have already run out of their steam (as they have already lost tens of thousand of their youth in a misguided armed struggle for so called liberation movement) which is evident from the fact that now they have started resorting to %u201CGandhian non-violent Technic%u201Dof hunger strike in a ridiculous manner. (8)- If USA really believes that to a great extent the solution to terrorism is democracy then USA aught to take the cognizance of lack of functioning democracies in this strategically important region ( in Pakistan - already having Kashmir dispute with Hindu majority India , Bangladesh -already having problem of huge Muslim infiltration in Hindu majority India resulting terrorism in Assam etc., Nepal -already a troubled dislodged Hindu State, Bhutan - notwithstanding its recent anti- terrorist sanctuary treaty with India, Sri Lanka - already in civil war between Buddhists and Hindus) around Hindu majority India - the functiong largest democracy. (9)- In view of the above mentioned the only solution of Kashmir problem and these other problems of the region lies in the Democratic United States of SAARC countries on the principle of - genuine federalism & secularism and not as being presently claimed hypocritically by India. (10)- But this secular - federal %u2013 democratic SAARC will have no meaning without subscribing to Optional Protocol to International Covenants on Civil and Political Rights in order to enable its citizens to approach UN against Member State for the enforcement of their guaranteed Human Rights. (11)- USA, by roping in the support of member States of UN (including the support of its permanent members) can always intervene in Indian Sub-Continent in a big way with an above mentioned long term world view by taking an excuse of unimplemented UN resolution of Plebiscite on Kashmir dispute, between two hostile nuclear States- which is still claiming lots of lives and inflicting huge sufferings apart from being a big source of domestic & International terrorism. Let us see whether USA really bails out its time tested ally Pakistan and practices unadulterated commitment to %u2018International War Against Terrorism%u2019 or remains as %u2018Self Centered Water Locked Isolationist Country%u2019 as ever. Do not trust on Musharraf,He is not with Muslims, how he can be friend of US peoples.He is helping US only to get benfits so that he can face india. We indian are better with US but we should be very careful.

Does the people of pakistan feels the same? I don;t thinkn so they US as enemy and Musharraf is not elected by people rather he has betrayed his people..his PM 80% of pakistani hate him ..so wht US is achieving with this ..why BUSH wants Musharraf ? Because he is fit for that job .. he can kill his own mens then won;t accept there dead bodies ..saying they don't belong to him ?
The World knows that US always wants to laydown India and for this US helps always Pak to ruin us. Musharaff ruined Pak being a dictator and blindly US, keeping any loophole, lavishly aiding Pak. Who dont know the facts that for what purpose the so called lion keeps and protects sheeps, only for quench its hungry on emergency.
Definately Mr. Musharraf is your ally in war against terrorism in world and we Indians are paying its fees and panelty. But Mr. Bush we have no ally in war against terrorism amd we also know how to end this in one shot and we will definately do that in comming days and make Mr. Musharraf to cooprate with us.
History shows that US always shields Pak, as if like a big brother. They would not like INDIA grow in all aspect & wanted have check INDIA's growth always Economically as well as Military wise. US has already paying price for IRAQ policy. Certanly US softness on PAK will give them rich dividend in the form terrorism. One US too will realize it's mistake, probably after the change in current political power in US.
