How do you idiot can comment about indians? We either tamils or kannadigas, we are all INDIANS. Fight between us need not be commented by you guys, OK? And you guys dont have any rights to comment about whats happening in our Mother India. Srilanka is not the country for Sinhala people. It belongs to Dravidians (Tamils/Kannadigas/Andhrites/Keralites). Sinhalas are migrated(escapted) from S.E countries and they entered srilanka as refugees and followed buddhism. Please give srilanka back to India and get lost people.
Remember :- It was a massive Tsunami some 7000 years back which submerged land between India & Srilanka and thus forming a separate ISland. It then was occupied by the migrated people. Srilanka belongs to India.
The Tamil people living in srilanka are the oldest community and they have Indian gean. Only sea water separated them. They were not able to get into the mainland immediately after Tsunami.

Yes! That is the fact. The hardcore rulers are thrist of blood including the silly rajapakshee. But the very common sinhala wants to live together peacefully. Tamils are the most cultured people there and this sinhala hardcores torture them. Even just few days they have arrested some 1000 men, women and children to kill in name of enquiry. It is shame that still the tamils in India simply talk.

It should be made mandatory in india that politicians retire forever after being PM/CM for 5 years. If they cannot do anything in 5 years then they should not be allowed again. thats why country never improves.
Finally, the truth is out. It is only 210 tmcft of water which will be released by Karnataka not 419 tmcft as per the initial news. Do not spread the false news without proper understanding.

As per the order it is 419 TMC Ft which Karnataka should release. And people in karnataka are very intelligent. They don't depend on politicians to get news. In karnataka governments do not come to power like turns.

Wrong.. it is only 192 tmc which karnataka needs to release considering 50% rainfall predictability... The point is biligundlu.. 419 tmc release from karnataka is ABSOLUTELY wrong... Pl. read the tribunal order first

If you dont understand the issues pls keep quiet, The final result is TN will get 419tmc, but not completly from Karnataka, TN will get 217 from karnataka then remaining water will get from other rivers & rainfalls (Which is calculated from average rainfalls of previous years)....The final Judgement says TamilNadu is Entitled for 417tmc water in Kavery which is completly not from karnataka, understand the terms carefully.

The release is dependent on the extent of cauvery basin. Kerala and Pondicherry have less extents of basins wrt cauvery.. when compared to TN and karnataka.
Due to the two party rule - the interests of TN have suffered, inspite of having hardworking and industrious people- the state hasnt progressed as much as it could(though it has progressed better then many other states).
Saddest remains the fate of chennai which has seen decay and detoriarartion over the years :(

I am a Tamil born and brought up in Chennai. I have seen and lived in most cities in India and a few abroad. Sorry to say this. Chennai is one of the dirtiest and most unpleasant cities in the world.

Dear Raktim Chatterjee, Your postings typically reflects the famous idiom "POT CALLING KETTLE BLACK". In your opinion, Kolkata is the only best city and you bengalis are the most sacrficing people. Let me tell you one thing. REcently I was at Kolkata near Park Street, where hifi offices are situated. I was shocked to see people taking bath on the foot path and more horrifying sight was that hand pulled rickshaws. I dont think any other major city in India have Hand Pulled Rickshaws, other than Kolkata. Dont blabber too much, without knowing the facts.

Get people to totally boycott Malls and shops without parking lot. Then you will see how the city turns around..
with such intense heat starting early in the year now, one is not sure whether there will sufficient water available till Apr-07. 210tmc, 195tms, 270 tmc can right now be on papers for sure !!!
