It is unfortunate that a citizen of this country has been killed in an encounter. There is no doubt that those responsible for the fake encounter killing must be brought to books as early as possible according to the law of the land.
One must understand that to tackle a terror problem being abetted and fanned by our neighbour, of the magnitude that we witness in J&K, there may be some instances where innocent citizens may get caught in the cross fire, which is inevitable, as terrorists/anti-nationals uses civilians as a cover to put the blame on the Govt and to turn people against the Govt. While we must ensure that these are kept at the absolute minimum level, we must understand and appreciate the ground reality as well under which the Police & Security forces operate. Politicians must not be allowed to misuse such incidents for their personal ends. Even if they try to do, as responsible citizens, we should not fall prey to their propaganda on these.
Yes , only terrorists have human rights and civilians and security personnels don't have any. What Mr. Azad is trying to prove by giving stats, that Kashmir situation is improving ? Lies, damn lies and statistics . Whole of India knows that terrorist camps are still active. They can kill anybody at will. Will he scale down his security ? What about the morale of the security forces ? Deal with the terrorists with iron hand and heal the wounds of those who are affected.
