Everything mentioned here is against Karnataka, which is not the case.

hey tk,

you are a hate monger. Even after the others have become quiet you continue to crib and rant. you should be hung in public for provoking people. you should be ashamed of yourself.

Root of Kannada....
by tk on Feb 23, 2007 12:20 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This posting is only to Kannada Chauvanist and who abuse Tamils. My intention is not to blame entire Kannadigas and Karnataka.

In this forum, few Kannadigas claim that Kannada and Tamil are derived from Proto-Dravidian Language and Kannada is not derived from Tamil.

From their words itself, I would like to give some proof for 'Kannada is derived from Tamil only'.

Objective: Kannda is derived from Tamil.

Proof and Explanation:

Meaning of the word 'Dravida' : This Sanskrit word is believed to be an equivalent of Prakrit form of the word in Tamil

Transformation of word Tamil to Dravida:

Tamil to Prakrit Language:

Thamizha(Tamilian) -> Damila -> Damida

Prakrit to Sanskrit Language

Damida -> Dramida -> Dravida

For proof please refer to the following link:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dravida

Conclusion:

According to the above fact Dravida is Tamil and Tamil is Dravida.

So, Kannada is derived from Proto-Dravidian Language, i.e Proto-Tamilian Language, i.e Tamil Language.

So the root of 'Kannada' is 'Tamil'.

These crooked and cunning and fanatics will also claim that Sanskrit is derived fro Tamil and hence all indians are tamilians. With the same logic, they are fighting Cauvery water. Poor Kannadigas built the Dam and saved water. Now don't even have sufficient water for drinking, these beggers want water for growing three crops in a year. Shame on these animals.

PEACE !! PEACE !! PEACE !!

Hi all,

First of all im frm tamilnadu. Fewdays back i posted something against karnataka on seeing
some abusive posting against Tamils. But,
on the same night i felt guilty and told myself i shud never repeat such things again..
The reason being, When i came to bangalore it was my dreamland, i accept. I loved
Bangalore, still i do. I dint distinguish bw tamilians and karnataka. So Why shoud i
blame the entire karnataka while some mischief post against Tamils.

But yesterday when i saw some postings made by native kannadigas(i dont want
to tell his name) i felt really worse than ever..He had quoted tamilians as
black like amavas..coolie workers and labours are only frm TN.
That posting made me burst and post against kannadigas..

Even yestrday night i thought myself..Why???
I got to the point..

Faults are with both sides. I really accept that
IT in karnataka creates more employment than any other sector. Everyone
should accept that. Karnataka has edge in IT sector than TN. so
i shouldnt have said anything against the land of opportunity for
young people. I do apologize for my postings.
My advice to Tamils, BANGALORE WAS DEVELOPED AND BEING DEVELOPED
ONLY BY INDIANS.

And onething my kannadiga friends should note, Why do you
consider coolie workers and labours as backward? I dont know. They are
not begging, not doing robbery, not kidnapping child. They work for
their survival..not like us sitting under A/C b4 a computer..they shed
their blood for their family..So please dont drag coolie workers, construction
labours into the discussion.. Respect them irrespective of their origin.
If all the people work for IT then who will build the houses, roads etc..
So we shud give respect to their job..

So friends..
we should change...Unless we change our mindset this problem between
the neighbourin states will never meet its end. We
shud not growup with a mind against one society(applicable to bothsides).
It's too dangerous than anything else..

Live together!!
Make India really one!!

Happy life.

Guys, my advice, dont encourage anyone posting further against one
society regarding this
issue..I do apologize again if you found anything
against one society in this posting.. This is my last posting in rediff.

cheers..
