Tamils in Karnataka...
by commanman on Feb 07, 2007 02:50 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

If Kannadigas want Tamils out of Karnataka,
1. Ask the DGP of Karnataka to go out, he is a Tamil
2. Ask Rajkumar's family to go out of Karnataka as the Rajkumar's anchestors are Tamils.
3. Ask Rahul Dravid to go out of Karnataka, as his anchestor also from Tanjavur, Tamil Nadu.
4. Stop telecasting Udaya Tv and other sun networks kannada channels, as the cheif of sun network is Tamil

this is not the fight between tamilins and kannadigas, it is between governments plz dont pull out innocent tamilians in karnataka and kannadigas in tamilnadu, iam sure people who are born and brought up in a particular state will support his state not his language

According to Darwin Theory, every humans are from Animals only. So don't talk as if you came from the sky directly.

Even if Tamils are descendants of animals, you kannadigas are descendants of Tamils, read the history and dravidian civilization, then you'll realize.

Mind your language dear brother Indian. Every citizen of India has got the constitutional right to live in any state/Union Territory of India. Adaption of local language is only a convenience of the administration. If Mr. Narayanmurthy or Mr. Premji and other ITs work for US/other foreign countries, they are not slaves to them. If you start kicking each other based on language, then there should be hundreds of states made in India. In Karnataka itself Mangaloreans, Coorgis, Konkanis claim separate identity and statehood and if coorgi's say that Cauvery belongs to them, imagine where will mysore, mandya and bangalore go for water.

Let this beautiful planet be shared by humans and animals and live our short life peacefully and co-exist.

To My dear Karnatakans....
by Venkata Subramani on Feb 07, 2007 02:34 PM  Permalink

Hi to everyone,

I find lots of hatred being developed here. I have been to Karnataka and wondered how good these people are, because I feel they are very soft natured and kind hearted. Now it is disheartening to see the hatred in these lovely hearts of the children of Bharat Matha..

Who had sowed this...How to remove this...The only possible way is to take steps to interlinking the rivers in India...Lets start something for that....

Jai Hind..

If Tamils are stink, why the IT companies are comming to Chennai every week. Why don;t they recurite only brainy kannadigas.

For you information, IT companies in bangalore are comming to recruit even in 3rd colleges in TN. Thats show the quality of people from TN.

IT companies are not only recruiting in TN, wherever employable engineers are avilable , everybody are recruited.

Irrespective of the state , engineers are recruited, TN happens to be one , not the only one.

Its a different issue that everything of yours is 3rd grade. If good engineers are available in slums, he will be picked up too.

Everyone should accept it...
by commanman on Feb 07, 2007 12:44 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Cauvery is a national resource and no state should claim 100% right over Cauvery.

Its a fair and balanced verdict. Karnataka should release only 192 tmc ft water, everyone should accept this.

Lot of kannadigas working as labours in Nigiri dt and Kannadiga IT people are working in Chennai. Like that lots of Tamil IT professionals, labours are working in Karnataka.

So no one has rights to ask others to get out. Everybody are dependent on eachothers.

Calling for bandh and stoping Tamil cable TV and all will not add any value. Its waste of time and resources of Karnataka only.

The article and the the messages

First, the article: several questionable statements and incinerating words definitely not in the interests of the unity of the nation.
Second, the messages: my self-confession:first time I read all of them. Only sensible one is that of Ms Reddy. Some others started alright but bogged down soon in mutual blaming degenerating to personal abuse. Sorry status of intelectuals.
Finally: the court (tribunal) which is set up with mutual consent, has given its verdict. To fight on it, are we Indian politicians? or Indian industrialists? or terrorists in India?

I am certain that I do not want to get into contraversy but, pray, if Karnataka did not agree, how does the tribunal came into being? If it is at the instance of Supreme Court directive, accepting it then and questioning its verdict now (I hope you are a reasonable and law abiding person)-don't you consider aginst the grain of honour and integrity?

Cauvery - issue
by on Feb 07, 2007 12:19 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This is certainly not fare.

Cauvery%u2019s Birth place being in Karnataka giving less water to the people of Karnataka does not make sense and thinking scientifically Karnataka has all the reason for demanding more water. We understand that all 3 states including Pondicherry needs water. But please go the scientific way in solving this problem.

Also just to add one more thing, I know this is not related to the Cauvery issue, but I want to get answer from who ever reads this.

Being in the software industry we come across many Tamilians, it%u2019s really sad, that these people don%u2019t even think as what Karnataka has given to them. They come in search of jobs, get a good software job, earn loads of money and finally crib about the city.

When the verdict was given you need to see these people clapping & being so happy that there state has received more water. DON%u2019T THEY LIVE HERE!!!!!

When they get less water everyday these same people start blaming the city.

Why can%u2019t they think that we all are Indians first? Is this the way one needs to behave?

SHAME ON TAMILIANS!!!!!!

I Completely agree that bangalore has offered lot to people from all over india. Still it has and it will. Every indian has the rights to work in any state if he/she has the WILL and SKILL. Chennai is not very far from B'lore in terms of IT and leader in Automobiles and Telecom. People from Karnataka and all other states are welcome here to work.
