At last the decision was taken keeping all the aspects of the farmers and poor people. Rivers are a natural source and it must be shared between states, whatever may be the reason. There is no point in fighting for the natural resource. Store it in dams and use it at time of summer seasons.

that is what we are doin and the people from TN are asking for water when we ourselves are in trouble ... you cant die without food by giving your food to the Beggar do u do that?
Never Mind any Court's or Tribunal's order, the Knob of the Cauvery Tap is in the hands of Kannadigas, and Mr HDK will not take risk of losing this battle to TN as Mandya is his ancestorial stronghold.

if you live in TN then you may think so not for the people of karnataka Cauvery flows through karnataka and the farmer is some regions do need more water for cultivation, this is like this, my child is crying, but i must give milk to my next house child.....lol
