Dude, It would not have a Legal validity, the state can still challenge the decision. Your arrogance has the stamp of Tamil Nadu.

Why we Indians have such a narrow vision?
by Syed Meeran on Feb 05, 2007 02:47 PM  Permalink

We are all Indians.. and we have to share whatever we have.
When India and Pakistan can peacefully share the water from the rivers flowing in India's north, why do we fight within states.
Why are we having a narrow vision? When will we Indians mature to have a global look?
Its a shame of politics that is going around here ( And the south India is considered to be a majority of literates -
Im also from South India belonging to one of the states through which cauvery flow)
Arent we Indians?? Shouldnt we share our resources? Isnt it a shame on us to get a verdict on this after 17 years of political drama?
Many times we feel proud of being Indian..
But if we have such a narrow vision, not only its gonna be difficult for us to retain kashmir, but we might endup as one nation with 28 sub-nations.
I really feel sad for the state of India now. :(

This is not Fair
by shamala m on Feb 05, 2007 02:47 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The decision should have been in favour of Karnataka, as so many farmers are commiting suicide in karnataka, there is no reason for US to leave more water to Tamil Nadu

Ok OK don't give any water. We will sell all the river bed for the realty development. But onething. Make sure no water will flow down across the border during monsoon or rain. Can you give a gurantee.

have you stopped to think what would happen to karnataka if the rivers Bhima and Krishna are stopped by Maharashtra? You morons, the farmers are not dying because of just water. they are because there is not enough lift irrigation programs in karnataka, there is no farmer lending measures in the state and this state also has morons like you too
