The verdict comes as a reliefe for some and disappointment for some, but if we closely look at the history of Kavery water dispute the Karnataka Government has been overlooking the verdicts given. i do not think the government will again follow this verdict. We the people of india should move beyond these things and look at the development of the state. This is definitly a political move and let the people not caught init. I wish peace remains in Karnataka and Bangalore.....

Hi, when they had made their decision to give 419 tmcft water to TN, lets also bring up the issue of electricity. Most of the times Karnataka is suffering because of lac of electricity. Let the panel be set to provide us the electricity from MH and TN also Kerala may give us some units. Everyone knows, Karnataka is making good contribution towards the national development. Let the centre address this issue quickly. Also most of the southern cities in Karnataka depends on kavery water for daily sustenance. Let the panel answer whether should those common people who depend on the kavery water should go????? go to TN ???

Tamil Nadu is already supplying Electricity to Karnataka. If Karantaka govt does not know to properly distribute and maintain electricity then God should only help Karnataka. Please know the facts and speak
After successfully getting several IT and auto companies to TN, and running several successful projects for poor, the Government once again succeeds in getting the legitimate and just demands from the court. Congrats to all concerned.

This point of 192 ft is there in the article..My apologies to rediff..
Everyone talks about the share of water for states, nothing about increasing the amount of water in the river by increasing forest cover, reducing seepage and losses,etc. Wish everyone in the two states fighting each other thought about it!!
Come'on guys.Both TN and Karnataka are in India. Lets not divide ourselves by language and border.Whatever be decision lets face it for a while and let know the court about the decision in two years from now. Another solution is to ask TN to share the Power it generates out of this water
