Sharing of water has been the bone of contention all these years between Karnataka and Tamilnadu. It could have been amicably settled had our politicians sat through it seriously and settled this matter 16 years back. It is they who have kept the fires of hatredness all along. The state which is actually contributing to the flow of river by preserving the catchment areas and feeding the water to the river should definitely get the lion's share and Tamilnadu should not create problems.
Hi Pals Don't judge a Book by its cover. After spending 17 long years and assessed the situation in both the states, Tribunal has taken this decision. Please don't give any political Motives to this issue also while reading the Blogs i have come across a Racial Abuse too. In cricket we are talking aging Gibbs, Lehman etc about their racial abuse but being an Indian why you guys get separated based on regions or religion, Please don't ever do this to mother India. What so ever being a citizen of India we should respect the Decision or should appeal against it .

Yah! dear, wt u said is good, while watching cricket we look the betn India and Pakistan, but while coming inside y people are behaving like enemies, to see the developed India we should work as a Team India, what the other developed nations did. Come on be a one in the race to reach developed country
This is a more unfair and brutal verdict. This has happened only due to inefficient politicians of Karnataka who failed to safeguard the state interest. Gangaprasad S
Kaveri panel worked for 16 years and gave this verdict so there must some valid logical reason behind the verdict. I guess this verdict is based on the total water available to two states and what is required in addition...if the decision is made on these grounds we should respect it otherwise people of Karnataka needs to protest. Lets first try to understand the verdict first before blaming
i just wish goddess kaveri disappears and goes on leave for a few years.both the fanatically narrow-minded kannadigas and the india-hating opportunistic tamilians dont deserve a drop of it.

See Amit another narrow minded is replying u(refer to the reply of shiva raj)!! I am an Indian!
I dont really understand the karnataka's view and its a natural resource common for all and should be shared. Situation is like if they have excess water then we can do agriculture .. what if not? Im sure karnataka farmers understand the situation of our farmers but not others who does not know anything about agriculture...... Last but not least the court/juctice is made for every Indian and not karnataka/Tamilnadu....
You guys are so insane. Why people in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka need to argue between themselves. The dispute has been settled in court and it would be wise if the issues are settled through court. Have a feeling that we are Indians. Kannadigas have th right to appeal against this verdict. Havent the TN waited for 16 years to get a result on their favor.
After sixteen years, Research about the allocation of water as per crop requirements, the cropping pattern and the mechanism for implementation, the cauvery tribunal made a good judgement..
