Great justice !
by Srinivas R on Feb 05, 2007 03:35 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Now all Tamilians in K'taka who supported TN in cauvery water dispute can migrate back to TN because there will be plenty of water in TN as B'lore, Mysore etc would suffer from severe water shortage.

I visited TN couple of years back during summer in the cauvery belt and could see green and water everywhere. I also witnessed the then Chief Minister of K'taka, SM Krishna passing an order to punish the farmers of K'taka who grow crops in the cauvery belt in K'taka. What a difference!! Now K'taka will have neither food nor water. TN has to provide K'taka both!!

Mr Srinivas,
I beg to differ, I have seen the TN cauvery belt as barren with no single drop of water. Dont write something with narrow mindedness. Be broad minded that we are indians and Cauvery is a national issue involving 4 states not only TN and KN. Its because of the politicians this issue has been blown out of proportion. Personnally I think the tribunal has given a fair justice. Banglore and Mysore even now has underutilized water source. The issue will be resolved, if the govt. learns to use the existing water source.

Note: I am not a tamilian, lived in both bangalore and TN

Rohith,

Hope ur educated, but ur words show ur too narrow minded and never knew the actual issue. the KNTKA will get its share of what its getting now. No body can steal the cauvery. The people have given this verdict after studying this issue over 17 years with out any regional bias.

Water is Natural Resource: You don't have right to claim
by Ramprabhu K on Feb 05, 2007 03:34 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Water is Natural Resource. No one can claim for it. It should be shared fairly. No use of commenting on Tamils and Tamilians. People who gave verdict studied the situation for last 17 years and give their result. Don't just pass junk message by sitting in front of your PC.

They should understand how much water is there in KRS.. then only should this kind of verdict should be given... before writing you should have studied all these things...people do't have time to writelike that only.... they would have written in doing enough survey.....

Not proper facts taken

I think they have given verdict from old facts. Things have changed rapidly, particularly in Bangalore. This decision is not good.
