though this is a silly idea that to destruct all the dams, lemme express. why these disputes, followed by verdicts, and then by riots. demolish all the dams and let all the water go to the sea.... let all of us suffer from drought instead of these riots!!!! we indians are emotional idiots...
Please note that verdict does not say that Karnataka should release 419 TMC to TN. It only says that TN should get 419 TMC out of total of 740 TMC available in Cauvery. For TN to get 419 TMC, Karnataka needs to release only 192 TMC. TN gets rest of water from Cauvery water capturing area in TN itself. This is 13 TMC less than tribunals' interim award of 205 TMC.
Out of 192 TMC that TN gets from Karnataka, it has to release 30 TMC to Kerala and 7 TMC to Pondicherry.
So, unlike the media projects, verdict is not against Karnataka. It is more or less in line with interim verdict only.
Infact karnataka get more share than TN. Understand the reality..

Yes.. It looks like TN got more. But it is actually losing more. TN should appeal to SC again against this impartial verdict.
When there was KARGIL War... we poured the money together & shown our UNITY.. When SADDAM was executed we mourned together.. When SUNAMI swiped Indonesia we felt bad together, when Booj (Gujarat) was grounded by Earthquake we helped together.. Like this whenever there is a disturbance touching the baseline of HUMANITY at any corner of the world we show to the WORLD that "We are together... and we are here to help them for ever"
But it's only within ourselves we never see each other..
What happened to our UNITY...Guys..
Science says... this year becoz of Global Warming the Sea level is going to increase and most of the Coastal regions are under threat... We have so many challenges to come..
Leave all these minor Politically Driven issues and verdicts.. Let's see everyone as INDIAN's and proudly say: We Live in UNITY to help the HUMANITY...

Nerved, angry man is duff and dump! Yours words will reach no one. It is silly politicians who clearly carve such silly chapters from Kashmir to Kanniyakumari. They should be hanged. If we go back to read from the historya and root cause of issues you can see 'silly politics' there.

what the hell is going on? even educated people are arguing like children. What will the world think of us.....you argue for giving water which is given by nature not by humans. First we should be a human being that to respect other people eventhough they r in different sates or different country and to render help. that words are really irritating "V shud not give single drop to TN". i'm really ashamed about thinking of our unity by reading comments like this........
hey boss..dont twist the verdict....the reality is as per the interim what ever verdict 205 tmc was included of rain, released water..etc....now the released water is more than what prescribed in interim order..... and also one must understand that TN water includes all sources...i.e released water, from rain..etc.. but k'taka's 270 is sum of water available from all resources.... in other words from reservoir k'taka(from all sources) can use 270 thats all... but TN is more than that.i.e 192 rain from catchment areas..who is acountable for that..... what if there is less rain

Interim report said that the 205tmc should be released from karnataka to TN.Anyone with common mathematics sense will understand that this is a balance act by tribunal and not in favour of any state.TN should capture 225 tmc on its own and also should share with kerala and pondichery.
There is no way we Kannadigas can leave so much of water as there is scarcity of water for drinking it self. TN People want 65 % Cavery Water even if the river originates in Karnataka. 1.Want IT Jobs in Bangalore 2.Want Peace full Life in Bangalore .. 3.Want ... 4.want... 5.want...

Mr. Shri you are correct, As i have to meet my needs am in Bahrain,,and i dont talk bad about other states,, Tamilnadu has everything so why does Shankar worry and complains about tamils having a good life in Karnataka. Many kanadigas have forgotten that the leading population in the Hill district of Nilgiris has the Badaga tribes who immigrated from Karnataka during Tipu Sultans period. We tamils treat them as tamils
