Very true. It is congress promoting the diferences between the forward and the backward caste as well as the Hindus and Muslims. This has been done with the sole motive of vote banks.

I am amazed to see that all these years they keep on talking about the upliftment of rural farmers and after being in power for almost 50 years they are still talking on the same line.

Godknows when will they be able to do something good for the farmers and the country when the farmers conditions are deteriorating day by day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shiv Sena BJP WIN
by Mandar Dhotre on Feb 03, 2007 12:49 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Both SS and BJP should concentrate on fighting the major threats of terrorism and infiltration in Mumbai.Only then can they be called true patriots and sons of the soil. They should not utilise their energy in fighting other communities from India. Those issues are age old and should be left aside. They should now concentrate on bringing all Indians together and fight against terrorists who are planning to blow up our beloved city.SS should be a shield for our city only then can we call them true descendants of the great Shivaji Maharaj.

Yes Mr. Nimbalkar, I think you should have been a candidate in this elections. Because if it is the congress or any other party (or a independent like you) will not be able to solve this water, gater and meter problem. ( The core problem is unbalanced poplulation in Mumbai )The problem is the same every where. It is not a Muncipal problem alone. It starts from you, Your Town, Your District, Your State, Your Country, Your Universe. Think

Mr vinayak nimbalkar, Ask State & Central Govt. to allow some fund for Mumbai. So they can utilised it to maintain water, gater and meter problem.

When Shiv Sena & BJP alliance govt. sworn in state that time they build so many bridges, roads, Krishna Damm & Specialy Pune Express Highway. What about current state & central govt. They use power for himself not for General People.

That is the difference between Shiv Sena & BJP Govt. and Congress & NCP govt.

congrats....
but this will be last chance given to shiv sena.
if they fail to perform this time then the coming yrs wil be very difficult.
people dont want shiv sena out but they cant vote for non active party also.
shiv sena is the only promising party who works for mumbaikars and maharashtra but they have to do it and not just talk.

This is typically Congress type Propoganda. Congress always make fake propoganda. Every time they fool people by asking what Shiv Sena done. In every ward shiv sena & BJP work hard for there people. Specially shiv sena sakha pramukh always available for general people. They hepl everyone.

Congress performed Well..
by Melwyn Dsilva on Feb 03, 2007 12:09 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Congratulations.. to Congress (I) firstly for contesting the elections on its own, secondly for bagging more votes as compared to 1992..

Congress is not much behind Shiv sena in this result (Sena - 83 and congress 71) so the margin is only a edge..

Not to forget only 30 to 35 percentage of people vote and these people don;'t even know why and whom they shud vote the latter half just sit back home or in their office and watch the Tamasha on TV or internet.

any way lets pray and hope.. that the SS combine will think more aprart from declaring Bandhs ets...

best regards
melwyn

In amchi Mumbai who else do you think will win.
For us Indians it is our caste & our language. No matter if life in the city is getting worse for its inhabitants. Come elections & we shall vote for our community & our language & our man.

Every Person who belongs to his soil, will have pride on his language, colour etc... outsider is always a outsider he will come here to gain to himself and give nothing to the city. Whether it is Mumbai, Delhi or Bangalore local inhabitants will face the brunt because of exessive immigrition. It is better to concentrate on development of whole country rather developing pockets, which will avoid in decongesting cities.

Niki, i agree with you but it's a need of hour you see. Its Maharashtrian who is taking heat of decisions made by Congress govt. in Centre and State. Maharashtra is the most tolerant linguistic region where outsiders are poured in and they got major say than localites, you see.

Let us be honest with ourselves. It is not easy to be secular. Those who call themselves secular are the biggest liars! They lie to themselves. Basically, it in the human nature to be biased

We are biased towards ourselves
We are biased towards our family members.
We are biased towards our community
We are biased towards our religion
We are biased towards our region
We are biased towards our country...

Fellows, let us be honest and accept this fact. And more than anything else, there is no one on this earth is so called secular! This is pure hum bug and means adopeted by certain political parties to meet their selfish motives!
