It has been reported that a conversation reportedly took place between Josef Stalin and Vyacheslav Molotov in 1946 about whether Bose should remain in the Soviet Union, although he is supposed to have died the year before. There are theories that Bose had kept contact with the Soviets after the defeat of the Axis powers became apparent, and travelled to Manchuria instead of Taiwan (Manchuria was occupied by the Soviets in the final days of the war). Documents to this effect are claimed to be in existence. In effect if reported why Russian forces encountered some members of Indian National Army in Southern Manchukuo between Japanese units of Kwantung Army and other supporters captured (White Russians,East Jews,etc) in area during August 1945;was possibly why between these Indian units stayed Mr. Shubhas Bose also.
The Mukherjee Commission submitted its report to the Indian Government on November 8, 2005. The report was tabled in Parliament on May 17, 2006. The probe said in its report that Bose did not die in the plane crash and the ashes at Renkoji temple are not his. However, the Indian Government rejected the findings of the Commission.
It has been alleged that Subhash Chandra Bose was abducted by the MI6 or KGB because of his clandestine links with the Axis leaders. Probably he died in custody. It had been feared then that if he returned to India after the Independence, it'd be impossible for the Congress or anybody to stop him from coming to power and even imposing a military rule similar to that of the Nazis (as he had enough exposure to the Nazi leaders). victories of INA against the British troops in Indo-Burmese border had awakened the Indian pride and many compared it to the Battle of Adowa, 1896. The British shared this concern with the Congress top brass and the later were more than willing to have Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose out of their way. Neither the Shah Nawaz committee not the Khosla committee has any credibility to satisfy a rational person. The rejection of the Mukharjee committee report by the Indian government only indicates that the Government of India is not keen on publicizing the truth.
According to Babajan Gouffrav, India's Ambassador in Moscow Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was allowed to see Netaji some where in the Soviet Union on the condition that the Ambassador would not talk and mutely converse in any manner with Netaji. After this strange meeting, Ambassador Radhakrishnan informed Prime Minister Nehru about Netaji's presence in the Soviet Union. This fact came to be known and speculations were rife in New Delhi about the ways and means of securing the release of Netaji from the Soviet custody, but nothing was done at the official level to secure Netaji's release

It is is true that Nataji's return to India would have harmed the aspiration of congress leaders - Nehru and his clan in particular. This is the main reason nothing was done to bring him back to India.
During Indira Gandhi's regime all the docuements and records available with PMO about Bose's whereabouts were destroyed as those documents would have destroyed many a senior congress leaders including Nehru, Gandhi and others.
It is a pity we have allowed these shameless, spineless people to rule our country for so many years and again have brought them back to power.

The leaders who are so called representatives are fit for nothing and never in history have take responsibility on their shoulders... they should feel shameful for the acts.. we need to see that new blood (well educated) persons only enter the parliament.
