I squarely blame the governor for this and the election commissioner is right to say it is the governor's fault. Whether it is the first citizen or the last citizen. All are equal. And there are so many reminders thru media to get the names registered in the voter's list. If one doesn't do that, why blame others ? SMK is a learned man and I guess he has realised the mistake. don't blow up this issue out of proportion. Allow him to tackle on his own.
Passing the buck, should be included in the Olympics, This will ensure India gets a gold at every future Olympic games. Its funny how we have a state Governor whose name is not in the voters list & games being played out as to why his name is not on the list, long live the government & the Governor.

I think as the Last elections BJP-SENA Alliance will win this time as well. They are powerful. As a Mumbaikar I would prefer them to win the elections.

I think u should keep ur eyes and ears open . its the so called Secular Congress and the Left who ask votes on the name of religion and caste. They can go to any extent to please the Muslims and the so called Backward Castes
In morning, I went to cast vote with my family. We were shocked to find our names missing in the voters list. We have casted our votes durning many previous elections. Even though my Dad & Mom had Voter ID cards with them, the officers available in the booths refused to search our names in their list. So many persons were turned adound by these uncooperative officers. Even policemen seemed to be uncooperative. Everbody from election officials & policemen exibited total Red Tape behavior.
Candidates were also lingering in & around the booths.

I think it th elist is published much before and you could visit any Party Booth and as them to check.. I think Mumbai/Maharashtra has highest democracy compared to any part in India and they would surely search your name.All parties do this in Mumbai/Maharashtra as a Public service........Dont blame officials as you must check it well before at part booths and than checking them at the Election booth itself

Donot worry your name will be used by somebody and he will vote for his party member. So your vote is not wasted...........this happens.
