RE:Pakistan- a choice between Devil and the deep sea?
by Demo-crazy on Jan 02, 2008 03:41 PM  Permalink
The problem of terrorism in Pakistan is a regional nightmare.

I am not sure how Russia and China will feel if the terror elements gain an upper hand in Pakistan. In any case, Afghanistan, India, and a few others are known for their inaction.

Our home minister, prime minister, defence minister are day-dreaming if they think Pakistan's problems will be solved by this election.

Unfortunately, Musharraf becomes a necessity for Pakistan now. They have to wage a NOW or NEVER battle to crush the terrorist of all hues. I am not sure how far their military will be able to go, as this will mean huge amount of bloodshed in many parts of Pakistan. If Pakistan has to survive as a decent nation, they have to undergo this painful surgery now. Their own leaders were responsible for the growth of this cancer. Now, they have to adminster the urgent surgery also.

Take a bow

Here's one guy who has the guts to call a spade a spade. Among hundreds or may be thousands of so called intellectual, so called liberal, so called secular but in reality intellectually stupid, liberally myophic and pseudo-secular media czars, here's one person who deserves praise, applauds and reverence for being absolutely honest consistently.

Mr. Francois Gautier, I take a bow.

Hate is not productive...The history repeats itself about hate....
by kv chandran on Jan 02, 2008 12:24 PM  Permalink

Hate is anti-God or anti humanity or anti nature. A religion founded on hate, a nation founded on hate, a politician nurtured on hate all are going to fail one day or other, The ghosts/spirits of those who died may be laughing at the unfolding of events around us reaffirming our faith that love alone is permanent. Hate mongers are there to perish.

hi hasan... very rightly said...Thank you very much for your comment... you are absolutely right when you said about achivement of pakistan as a free nation.. infact it has gone back in time as a free nation..
Religion cannot be a basis for forming a different country.. history is a witness to this..
Every prosperous country in the world has been a democratic one where every religion lived in harmony..
My best friends have been from other religons.. I am not at all fussed about religion.. i know my religion and thats why can understand others..
Even today my muslim friends offer our family special treatment when they invite us for id.. and we host them similarly for our deepawali...

Unity is the strength of India.. and may our india live and prosper as a great democracy for milleniums to come ...

Jai hind and Vande Mataram..

Lovely piece of note Hasan. Lets leave Pakistan and different religions alone and work for countries growth and betterment.I loved the way you said ' May allah grant ALL HUMANS to unite and live in peace. Long live India' Great attitude..and that shows wisdom. The prayer wasnt for only muslims. That for sure is the path of coexistence, thats much needed for people of all faiths - hindus, chitstians, muslims all included at this troubled time. Thanks alot again..
A note, please dont use CAP on a posting board.

She is a Sindhi!
by Shiva on Jan 02, 2008 10:36 AM  Permalink

She can come to power only by anti-indian rhetoric. She is a Sindhi and a minority in Pakistan.

Panjabis are dominant in Pak and they will never allow Sindhi to rule. She came to power first when she claimed that Indians are dogs (Kuthe).

Second time she came to power by vowing to create Taliban to defend Islam against world forces.

Now she has suffered for what she did and now the next scape goat is coming - her son.

Indira Feroz Ghandhy created sikh terror - died because of that.

Rajiv Feroz Ghandhy created lankan terror - same result.
