I was doing a research for some strategic decision.... I was amazed to realize India is truely has tremendous potential tobecome a world beater.
1. India has 550 million work force, almost 10times of USA. 2. India has every possible mineral. 3. India has highest no. of sceintist and Engineers 4. Indians knowledge level is very high 5. Indians smartness level is much higher 6. India is biggest democratic nation. Amazing sruvived and going great also 7. Countries like Pakistan, Afghanistan are like ZAA....T KE BAAL... CANT HARM us anyway.

The real progress in our Country started only after the economic liberalisation of the early 1990s and we have progressed well in the last 15 years. We would defnitely catch up with the developed world in another 20 years or so. yeah our performance in sports is abysmal .. well blame it on the social structure here , where kids are forced to concentrate on education than anything else. The other things you can blame on is the lack of interest in non-cricket sports in India, hence no sponsors for other games /sports. Its basically the case of what came first chicken or the egg in India. Same case as how when you apply for a job, you get turned down for lack of experience , but then if no one employs you, how will you get the experience.

ok fine...lets have a genuine debate....so according to you not winning medals in olympics means that india will stop growin... no doubt indians are not good sports people coz here we give more emphasis to education...so you find them more in other areas which requires technical skills...the second point... plzz understand this fact even in NASA about 20% employees are indians... u go to any part of the world u will find an indian wid a white collar job....when we are giving so much of skilled ppl to this world then we are also directly contributin to the GDP....boss go n chk how MNC's are fightin for IIM students ...
