Sudhir Bisht
by Alok Misra on Jan 01, 2008 08:33 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This is third class article because -
1. Benazir is dead. To speculate what she could have done is foolish.
2. To call her pakistani-indian girl is very short-sighted especially due to the fact that she was born after partition. (Maybe, author is infatuated, blinded or mesmerised by her beauty...and his hormones are talking not the mind. As far as India is concerned she was yet another Pakistani leader showcasing inconsistency, dicotomy and confusion /w regard to policies /w India.
3. She was "sleeping" with the terorists (Taliban) during her tenure and mujahideen infiltration in Kashmir did not reduce during her tenure.
4. It is known to all that she /w her husband were implicated not only in Pakistani courts, but also in other countries (Swiss)

Rediff: Do you allow your columnists to write whatever you want? Is there no editor who keep a check on vagaboung articles such as these.

Sudhir definitely shows a great degree of immaturity in his understanding of international affairs, and its a pity he was allowed a platform to express his bulshit.

Pakistani-Indian!
by on Jan 01, 2008 05:32 AM  Permalink

To associate the word Indian with Ms. Bhutto, who hated and plotted against India, is rubbish. We should eulogize the dead, fine. But let us not get carried away, Ms. Bhutto and her father hated India, and in that they bore similarities to the hate filled Islamists.

SECRET?
by Desi on Jan 01, 2008 04:36 AM  Permalink

In fact, Musharraf and Benazir might have entered a secret pact wherein the latter would have become prime minister and would have been in charge of trade, commerce, economy and foreign relations.
IF IT IS SECRET, HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS?

Daughter of the East

C'mon! Daughter of the East!
Indira Gandhi deserves that title. Not Benazir!
Better Daughter of the ISLAMIC East for Benazir!

Benazir was an author of her undoing in that she was overconfident in the security measures she thought was intrusion proof...just think about this...what was a need for her to use un protected provision of sunroof in a bullet and blast proof car?? It is like keeping windows and doors of the house open and then crying thief thief when the house is burgled?? If the adversary could not get her in close quarters, a desperate sniper would have got her down any way....any way, the election thing was a risky business. The shooter could be anyone...from ISI, Pak military special force, anti Bhutto faction or a splinter extremist group. Remember, Mush is a master strategist and has himself staged assassination attempts against himself to garner international monetary support against extremist to propel his personal agenda and popularity...it is always more than it can meet eyes!

unfortunately its useless for india
by karthikeyen dayanand on Dec 31, 2007 09:36 PM  Permalink

now the only man acceptable for US is mussaraf. Had butto become the PM of Pak, she would have thrown out Mussaraf in a couple of years. Naturally al queda would have become forceful and Uncle sam would have stopped those aid to Pak, and would have sent troops to secure the Nukes in Pak. Presence of US forces would have made india secure.

Right buddy. Our media and politicians know only one way of enhancing their status in the eyes of muslims..forcibly identifying with their issues in an unjustified way.Sadly for these idiots, this trick does not seem to work these days.People, both hindus & muslims, have become wiser & smarter.

I dont think majority of Indian muslims support Al qaeda or the terrorist groups in Pakistan. I know for sure that some of the Hyderabad muslims openly support pakistan and give shelter to these anti-social elements and of course those Mullahs and Madarasas of Luckknow fully support these anti-social elements. The educated muslims and moderate muslims, even though caught in the web, do not care of Pakistan and few of my muslim friends actually hate pakistan.
