who killed benezir
by Husam Gafur on Jan 02, 2008 05:07 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I will evalute the potential suspects :

1. Parvez Musharaf: Does not gain on the death of Benezir. Actually puts himself in a dangerous position as everybody blames him. Does not give him the support he needs to rule the country.
2. NAWAZ SHARIF: Nawaz does not benefit from Benezir's death. He had an even chance of becomeing PM . However, looks like he will lose out o the sympathy wave.
3. AL QAIDA: Does not benefit them as , the majority of pakistan will go againsy them. Planned to bear her out if she become PM. Parvez Musharaff would be a bigger target to them.
4. DAWOOD Ibrahim: A suspect, but he will not want to be kicked out of a country which would at least hide him. Otherwise he would have to live in south america or africa !!!!!!!!!

5. Asif Zadari: Benefitted the most. Came to position of Co- chairman in the party from a position of non prominence. Opens the potential for extreme growth and power and money. Gets the sympathy wave ., Close suspect of killing Murtaza Bhutto, benezir's brother.
So my friends , read and think!!!!!!!

Why Musharraf is not responsible for Benazir's death?MEDIA's Role?
by TV KUMAR on Jan 01, 2008 10:13 PM  Permalink

I wish to congratulate and agree with Mr Sudhir Bisht in all fairness to Gen Musharraf and kudos is due to him for analysing the sub continent vis a vis Democracy Autocracy Fanaticism. However the author seems to have missed the intriguing International implications of Be Nazir Bhuttos assassination in consonance with the present ruling Junta in Pakistan. The country had survived merely on hatred campaign on religious lines which the then top leaders of the undivided India had perhaps not imagined so far as consequences of the PARTITION would incur? See the past more than half rulers of India Prime Ministers Presidents Generals of Defence Services Ambassadors Journalists et all had been from countries across the border. Unfortunately sentiments of the populace of both countries including Bangladesh have never been seen in correct perspective for 6 decades. Large number of people and their progeny with common legends and history especially from Punjab and from both sides of the then joint BENGAL may perhaps be dreaming of the example of aftermath of Second World War where Germany was divided but their people had undone later within 3 decades of separation. Why Blame President Musharraf for Bhutto's death
by jamsheed abumohammed on Jan 01, 2008 09:52 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is highly regrettable that a very charismatic political figure was done to death by the bullets of extremists. Its a shame for the nation which has bred extremism albeit candidly against India. In one way Mrs. Bhutto was to be blamed for the tragedy. She was first welcomed with a suicide attack, in which she escaped but 140 people died. That was a warning bell but then like all other leaders she too played it down such threats thinking that such attacks will never be repeated against her. She took things for granted and she even declared minutes before her death she was ready to sacrifice her life for the sake of democracy and Pakistan.Like homing pigeons, the words took the shape of reality and minutes later she was killed. It is therefore advisable to be positive and utter good things in life. President Mush cannot be blamed for the tragedy but for the security lapses. He was so sincere that he met her in Dubai, struck a deal with her and Sheriff and permitted them to return to Pakistan to restore democracy. But these leaders instead of appreciating his gestures, indulged in mudslinging against him only to sway voters on their side. Fate willed otherwise and a most charismatic figure of Asia had to leave the scene. It was totally unfortunate for the whole of Asia and world. In the fitness of things, it is now upto all the political parties to identify the grey area in the whole sordid game of extremism, strike at the very root of such groups mercilessly to curb bloodshed

Benazir is epitome of sacrifice
by ernest dharmasenan on Jan 01, 2008 08:12 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Benazir Bhutto is indeed a great Lady of passion for her country.I would like all the young ladies in the field of dance hall, gabrae dancers, Prostitutes, Blue film Actors, phono graphics posers, strip dancers why cant you people change your profession after seeing the life of this wonderfull lady.
She had beauty ,power, charisma yet she decides to consider all these things nothing and she choose to sacrifice her life for the sake of the country. Women dont spend lot of your time before your mirror because you are no prettier than Bhutoo.
