Sardar's 12 PM .... reply to Subbu
by Kah S on Jan 01, 2008 09:47 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Subbu ..... Did you forget our Sikh forefathers have been saving your grand grand mothers from those bucther moghuls who use to sell them in the Gazani market for a Takka. That was the great job our forefather use to do at 12 PM.... saving the honour of your grand mothers.
History has it that thrice sikh militants(as per moghuls) of those time saved 18 thousand , then 20 thousand and then again 18 thousand hindustani women from invaders like Abdali, Nadir shah and others.
Thanks sikhs for 12 PM , else even you would have been borned in Afghanistan or Iran.

Jinki Bachai muhghalo se mata , bahan aur Janani
Wahi aaj mazak udaye Sikho ka...besharam Hindustani

Dost, kuch paagal logon ke mazaak udane se Sikhi ki izzat ko kuch farak nahin padta...All sensible Hindus who have any sense of history know the sacrifices made by Sikhs to protect Hinduism and India... Sikhs are just like elder brothers to Hindus... I am a Hindu myself, and respect Sikhism for all the sacrifices it has made for our country.

Sikhism founder Nanak was born is the age of Sufis in a hindu family- his father used to work for a muslim, and his early education was in a madarsa type setup, Sufi preaching had influenced him a lot.

Infact his first follower was a muslim.many of his other muslim follower included Daulatkhan.
Nanak had travel around muslim lands including mecca, baghdad(the then centre of islamic scholars), only his quest for knowledge. the "Gate" verses by Nanak can be found inspired directly from the "throne" verses of Quran.

The rift appear between aurangazeb-guru tej- this might be due to politics. because by Guru Tej's time sikh had grown power and envision a political setup. Aurangazeb was no way liberal-even sufism might not have been digestable to him.

Again in partition sikh formed a major chunk of immigrants from pakistan and also muslim from indian punjab had to either imigrate or mostly forced to convert.

So sikhism was no way against islam /muslims form inception

This is really non-sense that we fight over Hindu-Sikh. We should be wise enough to understand what is wrong and what is right. Some people tries to spread hatered amongst these two brothers. If this simple some body doesnot understand, that means either is Anti Indian element or a real dumb head. So any wise person who is really a Sikh/Hindu should not debate on this that Hindus are better or sikhs are better. Please stop comparing these two hands. Each of them are equally important for the body.

terrorism
by Free Soul on Jan 01, 2008 08:30 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What is terrorism? most people define terrorism as killing of innocent people. If that is the definition of terrorism, the Indian state is the biggest terrorist. It murdered 30,000 Sikhs in 1984 State sponsored anti Sikh genocide after inflicting such barbaric atrocities on absolutely innocent people and has been protecting the culprits all these years. Terrorism and injustice breed terrorism. The Indian state and its people shed their hypocricy and double standards and do justice in te countless anti minority pogroms that have taken place with the collusion of the state, then terrorism of all kinds will itself come to an end.

Whats the proof
by Hardeep on Jan 01, 2008 07:45 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Indian Media is still so immature , unethical and irresposive that they would write anything to sell the news . And on top of IB and RAW still have to come up with any substancial work ( we all see how they failed in Kargil war) .
What proof does IB or RAW has fot this news. These are all speculations.
Further to Indian Media, Whay do they only have to report "Sikh Terrorist" ...Why donot they write "Hindu Terrorist " . Definition of Terrorist - who causes terror. So by that definition , does not Modi , RSS, VHP , Bajrag Dal , all qualify for Hindu terrorist organizations. Well I am not trying to justify any terrorist's to cause disturbance in Punjab by using "Sikh" word with them .
I still could not undestand how come the Civil criminal rate (like rape/dacoity/theft....economic or personal level initiated criminalact) went to almost NIL in Punjab during 1980's . Does that mean all Criminals turned Perfect Humans during insurgency ....or all of them started using word "Sikh" with them , because them it will be easy to mug people and get money from gullibles. ??? something to think about ???

When Modi, RSS, VHP or Bajrang Dal kill people to demand a separate country for themselves, let us brand them that. Until such time, let's try worry about the resurgence of extremism in Punjab. Does the world begin and end with Modi and VHP for every Hindu baiter?

RE:RE:Whats the proof
by Hardeep on Jan 01, 2008 12:38 PM  Permalink
Surely NOT. But the problem is that if constitution of India keeps in endorsing these people , one day they will declare India as a Hindu nation ....strangling the basic Secular and Democractic system of India.
My conclusion is based on the fact that , I had a chance to talk to many muslims elders from Pakistan who were on this side pre 1947 and I have also heard from my grandparents (Sikhs and Hundus ) on the otherside that none of the these people ( 90% of population) on both sides didnot wanted division on country but it still happend . WHY ? because of wrong leadership . So even majority of Hindus do not endorse Modi and RSS/VHP , it is highly probable that they may lead to again dividing India on Religious lines ........
