Why don't Sikhs want Pakistan's Punjab as part of Khalistan? Are they scared of Muslims?

Pakistan's present geographic area is thanks to Sikhs.

Its Sikhs who drive away Afghans and cleared off NWFP. Otherwise NWFP, parts of Paki Punjab would have been in Afghanistan.

Its because of Sikhs and Marathas- Mughal empire was wiped out.

Re-read history books- not what is taught in Madrasa

U have to learn Sikh History - North West India comprised of 70% Muslims 20% Hindus and 10% Sikhs - the Sikhs as a Military Sect in this part managed to keep the Invading barbaric Afganis away since 1800 onwards.

don't forget that Kashmiri Hindus rather Cowards as usual came seeking help from the Sikh Guru against the Forceful conversion they were being subjected to -:

Sikhs show that they are proud to have finished Casteism- they think that they are superior because they fought to free Hindus ?

But the fact is - Marathas came in 1757 all the way from Pune and fought Abdali at Panipat - not a single Sikh at that time dared to stop or even side with the Marathas against Abdali ?

In fact SIKHISM is just a 70% ISLAMIC and 30% Hinduism - the holy book is by one great SC SAINT - in fact 70% of it is by this great SC SAINT and the gurus just copied it in ?

Hindustan forget that our Sikh forefathers have been saving your grand grand mothers from those bucther moghuls who use to sell them in the Gazani market for a 'Takka'.That was the great job our forefather use to do at 12 PM.... saving the honour of your grand mothers.
History has it that thrice sikh militants(as per moghuls) of those times saved 18 thousand , then 20 thousand and then again 18 thousand hindustani women from invaders like Abdali, Nadir shah and others.
Many of these womens were of Marathas after they were ruthlessly defeated by Abdali in battle of panipat.
Thanks sikhs for 12 PM , else half of the today Indian population would have born in Afghanistan or Iran.

Today Casteism is more rigid in Sikhism than in Hinduism.
Where were JATS during the TEN Gurus - there is hardly any contribution by JATS during that ERA -
JATS came into prominence only when they sided with the Britishers during 1857 and were given huge JAgirs and LAnd for being loyal to the Britishers - and today they assume that only they are SIKHS ?

For over one and half decades, it has become den of Islamic terrorists. But nobody took any action.

Make no mistake, BJP will comeback and take these jehadis head on.

know the root cause of this
by HR Singh on Jan 01, 2008 10:06 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

does anyone of you know the root cause of so called militancy in punjab. Punjabis, especially Sikhs were betrayed by the Gandhi-NEhru dynasty. the rules of reparian laws were violated while dividing waters of Punjab. innocent sikhs butchered. Akal Takht Sahib attacked. false cases on sikh leaders. false rumors against them. non-profitable crops introduced in Punjab. Punjabis don't know what is happening with them, if someone tries to tell them, he is labeled Separatist. sikh generals were not given proper rewards. they always fell a victim to discrimination. Nehru, Gandhi, Patel all did not keep their promises after India got independence. why does no news channel, no paper, no media speaks about all these things. Media can see the killing of Sohrabuddin, but what about thousands of innocent youth still missing in Punjab? What about congress leaders involved in riots getting ministeries? does anyone have answer to this? No Haryana, No Rajasthan, No Delhi or any other state has any right on Punjab's water or power. why are they getting that? No supreme court ever rules against all these violations of international laws. unfortunately, Sikhs don't have good leaders. From the very beginning, Sikhs have fought and died for honor, justice and pride...... and they will fight till end against all this in any way they can. anyone can talk to me on truepunjabi007@rediffmail.com

Not all Sikh are terrorists, but yes they have sympathy with pro-khalistani people. Actually those khalistanis are the root cause of all problem. They do not care for common people, they want power and money. For that they are playing with the emotions of innocent sikhs. Those Sikhs which were part of our own families, now call them different. They collect the money from innocents and enjoy their life lavishly. And who dies? A poor person, whether its sikh or non-sikh. What happened in Delhi Riots was absolutely disaster, but it was the reaction of public who was provoked by the death of a Prominent International Leader. But no body talks about the non-sikhs who been killed in thousands during the time of militancy in Punjab before and after Delhi Riots. No body talks about the Hindus who got killed in thousands in Kashmir and millions lost their homeland, totally displaced and devastated. If anyone their who still has some courage and kindness in their heart towards their mother land. Please come out speak up on major issues. Do not fight over the Sikh-Hindu. They are two son of same mother. And especially HR Singh, please do not spread hatered. There are more prominent Brahmins who died for country and no body remembers them, right from Mangal Pandey to Batukeshwar Dutt, Chandershekhar Azad, Ramprasad Bismil and don't know so many. Out of 1% sikhs, you expect to give them all top positions?? This is rediculas, absolutely non-sense. What will happen to other 99%???

99% -That's absolute non sense .

Who says brahmins who consitute the majority of BJP walaahs are 99% in India ?

Let alone the Sikhs, have you forgotten the muslims, tamils, naxalite movement, the north east states, kashmiris etc who dont even like to be associated with Brahmanical BJP .

In really the upper brahmin leadership of BJP constitute is a minority community and if an unbiased survey is carried out they may constitute a minority even less in number than many of the so called minorities in India .

It is this minority brahmanical elite which is taking whole of the Hindu community and as a matter of fact whole of India for a ride .We include Punjab CM Badal in this elite, who is now indulging in arrest and torture of Sikh youth just to please BJP.

During election time they try to find emotive issues to show 99% of India is with them ,which is not true .
Last time it was Ram Mandir issue and now it is Ram Setu .

Sikhism-Islam relation over time
by mentor on Jan 01, 2008 10:04 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Sikhism founder Nanak was born is the age of Sufis in a hindu family- his father used to work for a muslim, and his early education was in a madarsa type setup, Sufi preaching had influenced him a lot.

Infact his first follower was a muslim.many of his other muslim follower included Daulatkhan.
Nanak had travel around muslim lands including mecca, baghdad(the then centre of islamic scholars), only his quest for knowledge. the "Gate" verses by Nanak can be found inspired directly from the "throne" verses of Quran.

The rift appear between aurangazeb-guru tej- this might be due to politics. because by Guru Tej's time sikh had grown power and envision a political setup. Aurangazeb was no way liberal-even sufism might not have been digestable to him.

Again in partition sikh formed a major chunk of immigrants from pakistan and also muslim from indian punjab had to either imigrate or mostly forced to convert.

his muslim follower
