No Government has a protection plan against stupidity. Benazir Bhutto's act of exposing herself from hrough the sun roof of her bomb/bullet proof vehicle is inexplicable. She wasn't moving about in a bomb/bullet proof vehicle for fun. There was a reason and a very valid reason. The moment she succimbed to the urge to be the leader of the masses, the attackers moved in and did what they had to do.
Why did the lady do what she did, did she have a death wish?
To end, we have to remember a management maxim. " There is no such thing as a foolproof plan because fools are so unpredictable."
Cut all the analysis out-- Just send Pakis more money so that they can dramatize and produce more "FAKE" Al-Quida and Terrorist episodes and enjoy relish making our fools & keep on milking us. TOO BAD-- US doesn't pay any money to the after-noon TV episodes producers!! Let me ask ye'all---ARE WE THAT CHOWDER BRAIN & GUILABLE THAT WE CAN'T SEE THROUGH Paki Musharaff's game plan to make fool of us? If the answer is MUST BE!... then...May be we should HIRE MICROSOFT TO WRITE "ANTI- US GOV.Stupidities"Programm. Wel! well.. Well my fellow Americans In the meantime we all loyal Americans get busy paying your Taxes-Moneys so that US AID checks get out in time. (Oh! Yes US shouldn't forget to include additional 20% for inflation)--because we always can squeeze another 3% from the US retirees'Social Security checks.
I havent visited Pakistan, but I have met with lot of students and academicians from Pakistan. It appears to me that Pakistan's elite community is very moderate and secular unlike what is portrayed in the public media. There is no question that there is a bristling fundamentalist group trying to unsettle their country. But the good thing is they are a minority and free and fair elections can easily quell them. Pakistan needs a democratically elected leader, resurgence in economy, a stable government and a lessening importance of Army in governmental affairs. A stable Pakistan will be good for Pakistani people, India and the whole world.

You haven't visted Pak? Thank your stars & Santa Clause for that mistake! UR ALIVE, Charlie One must have a long & strong stick before jumping in to snakes' pit. Elites and Democracy run parallel to Pakistani culture--- parallel lines never meet or merge, Indriyo oooo sahiba! FYI all TERRORIST roads lead into & emerge out of Pakistan!

Pakistan's future looks very bleak. One crisis after another and with no light at the end of tunnel either. Imagine a country run by a teenager under the guidance of his father who is still hounded with charges of fraud, corruption and murder. May Allah save the neighbouring countries.

religion is born out of faith and fear.. our forefathers wanted to have a system in place that could ensure that no one is crossing the limit and are behaving themselves and then only came these religion and the faith.. some fundamentalists (like you) started thriving on it. not only in kaliyuga but in other yuga as well lot of things happened if u read the literature... Those who can run the country should be the wise men and not the one based on caste.
always understand this bhaskar, the days have gone when fear keeps people silent.. tell ur child that if a box is opened a snake will come.. he will try to open it when you are not around..coz anxiety rules here.. no fear.- the reason for all the war and bloodbath is becoz of the Hatred we follow..
God had installed a eco system, ants eat small items -> insects eat ants -> lizards eat insects -> rates eat lizards -> snake and other medium size animals eat rats -> Lion eats the medium size animals ... like this there is a system but no human is in picture.. only humans can kill humans.. thats how god decided..

This is a complete religious brain wash, is there a scientific proof that only people belonging to a particular religion can be leaders ? This is completly a baseless argument.God has given brains to everyone and whoever uses in the right manner reach the peak in theri life.Moral qualities come to a person with a good moral education and a moral sense, it isn't restricted to a person belonging to a particular community!!

read carefully what geetha says.... Those who can run the country should be the wise men and not the one based on caste. why are feeling so insecure when some one talks about having brains , being wise, being honest... ?
Dr. Zakir Naik is the best person to answer you! Why are you discussing history, its the question of humanity. You know if you have even 1% of religon in you, you will not speak against any other religion. In Islam its said "2 things cant remain in a human being`s heart i.e. 1) Iman 2) Bughas that means ill feeling for others. At a time only one thing has a place in humans heart either Iman. Thus if you are pointing out then let me tell you that person is not having iman and thus he does all wrong and is on wrong path. Thus no use pointing out to all muslims! Its very easy to write something, my dear sir there must be good things written in "Mahabharata", you could guide people with positive points rather then discussing anything negative as it leads to jealousy and communal inharmony. So I request to people that we should look forward to lead a peaceful life in the country we are staying, our motherland "INDIA". Please keep the up the love and harmony. So please please love one and all as the true religion is "HUMANITY"

GOD IS ONLY ONE,THERE IS NO SEPERATE GOD FOR EVERY RELIGION. NO HUMAN KNOWS REAL NAME OF GOD.
HINDUS CALL HIM RAMA,KRISHNA,SHIVA ETC,ETC CHRITIANS CALL HIM JESUS MUSLIMS CALL HIM ALLAH.
PEOPLE OF THIS WORLD OUT OF IGNORENCE THINK THAT THEIR GOD IS REAL AND OTHER GODS ARE FRAUD.
THIS IMMATURITY IS THE ROOT CAUSE OF RELIGIOUS INTOLARENCE AND TERRORISM. ALLAH,RAM,JESUS NEVER TOLD ANY HUMAN TO KILL THE PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE OTHER GODS.

You can call him (or her) by a million names. There is no god. Religion is a political instrument by which to control people. All religions do that. Every religion has a bunch of true followers. These so called true followers control the other followers of the religion. The priestly class of any religion would be a good example. Now things have changed. That control is exerted by people who claim to protect the religion from attack by external forces (other religions). Modi, RSS, Bin Laden, Al Qaida, The vatican, Neo conservatives etc. would be a good example. The common theme among these protectors is that they use any tactic (including violence) at their disposal to remain in control. They have no ethical constraints because they believe they are doing gods work and so cannot be wrong. The Iraq war, mass murder by Al Qaida and the Gujarat riots are a good example. The degree may vary but the phenomenon is the same.

I appreciate the way u think these words should be notified in every religious book. I do have the ideology that before following any religion you have to be a good human being. Cheers..

How did this God thing and religion came into this discussion. Was not the news that solicited our comments " Musharraf indirectly complicit in Benazir's killing"?
Brother Beesmilla should preach his sermons in one of the Madrassas.
It appears apparent that Musharaff struck a deal with Benazir to bring her back to Pakistan. Elimination of Benazir and Nawaz Sharif is a must for Musharaff to continue as a un-challenged leader in Pakistan. It is also clear that Musharaff has the Al-Qaida as a stooge. It is not clear if the press statement of Ayman al-Zawhiri is actually from him or the ISI. The situation in Palistan is indeed very murky, but it looks very likely that Pakistan is on the verge of disintegration.
