India is also falling into the hands of religious terrorism. Everything is for rule our country. Dalits/Christians/Muslims/social activists/artists etc. are being attacked very cruelly. In a few years, these viruses will become mature terrorists.

I don't care about change if it's not a positive change
by Kumar on Dec 29, 2007 08:21 AM  Permalink

We don't want one set of manipulative, greedy and characterless leaders being replaced by another set of manipulative, greedy and characterless leaders. We gave BJP a chance in 1999 and their government was no different from the congressi government. An ex-IIT guy called Satyanarayan who complained to the Prime Minister directly about corruption was muderded by the road construction mafia showing the reach of the mafia right inside the prime minister's office. I will care about this so-called change only if we see the following: 1) change the police laws so that the police serve the people of India and not the government 2) hang the corrupt politicians, criminals and government officials 3) sign the 123 nuclear deal so that we have electricity 4) be tough on all anti-nationals: terrorists, corrupt politicans and criminal mafia.
Does Advani has guts to do this? Modi, maybe but Advani, no.
These politicans cannot save India, it's the collective responsibility of us common citizens. Support truth and justice in your day to day life. Promote, help and support people who show these traits while practicing these traits yourself. Demand honesty and openness from all. Stand against the corrupt even if they are of the same caste as yours.

2008 will signify the departure of ugly politics.
by chanakya maurya on Dec 28, 2007 04:28 PM  Permalink

New era will dawn on the overall social, economical and political fronts.

The country will free itself from the shackles of undesirable and outdated moulds on all fronts.

Because a brand new generation groomed in a different environment is taking over.

And taking over very fast.

Selfish and stupid approaches would lead nobody nowhere.

Delivery will be the essense of any and all promises and performances.

Lalji has absolutely no place in the new environment.

Narendra would perhaps lead the way with the blessings of Atal, Lalji and all the other elderly saffrons.

He has already made it a commitment at his coronation ceremony that he would take everybody along.
