We don't want one set of manipulative, greedy and characterless leaders being replaced by another set of manipulative, greedy and characterless leaders. We gave BJP a chance in 1999 and their government was no different from the congressi government. An ex-IIT guy called Satyanarayan who complained to the Prime Minister directly about corruption was muderded by the road construction mafia showing the reach of the mafia right inside the prime minister's office. I will care about this so-called change only if we see the following: 1) change the police laws so that the police serve the people of India and not the government 2) hang the corrupt politicians, criminals and government officials 3) sign the 123 nuclear deal so that we have electricity 4) be tough on all anti-nationals: terrorists, corrupt politicans and criminal mafia 5) eliminate the caste system completely. Does Advani has guts to do this? Modi, maybe but Advani, no. These politicans cannot save India, it's the collective responsibility of us common citizens. Support truth and justice in your day to day life. Promote, help and support people who show these traits while practicing these traits yourself. Demand honesty and openness from all. Stand against the corrupt even if they are of the same caste as yours.
I know BJP leaders are not going to read this but this is open letter to BJP.
Don't get over confident. Country needs BJP and BJP government for all round development. Also, country needs you to tackle the left wing violence and illegal conversions across the country. So, please ask your Chief Ministers to work together to immulate the development that is doen by Narendra Modi in Gujarat. Ask them to work for the common man and to work as the protector of Hindu traditions and culture. I'm sure, in true spirit of Hindu secularism, they will certainly treat all religions equally without appeasing any one group.
Ask them to follow, "Justice for ALL and appeasement of NONE" policy.
Anti incumbency shows its effect if the govt doesnt work for the people. The voters are not that blind that they simply vote out the existing gov. Best contrast to this is Gujarat. Though BJP won this round, there are biggies coming up in 2008. Karnatak to start with. followed by orissa, rajastan, MP. It is very difficult for bjp to sail thru MP and Rajastan. MP it is self goal by bjp for throwing out the winning lady from their party. But Rajastan it is the reservation issue taking its toll. BJP should quickly tackle these two states to hope for better results. Karnatak they have fair chance if they can come out with strong leadership exposing the dubious gowdas and unreliable congress. As of now polarisation is for congress benefit but can be changed by bjp. So wake up fast...!

Get your facts right man. It's muslims who started carnage in Gujrat & Christians in Orissa. They were payed back. Thats all. And remember , Pseudo-Secularists like you are paving the way for Hindu fundamentalism. We Hindu's were never in greater danger than we today. Till now it was muslims or christians who threatened Hinduism and we survived. But now it is Hindus (Pseudo Secularists) who are threatening Hinduism. And Hindus are awaking this this threat by voting out this so called secularists. Thanks Gujrat & HP. I am sure this show will continue soon in Karnataka & then in Delhi.

A Dalit President could not save Dalits in our country. A Sardar could not save Sardars. A Muslim President could not save Muslims. A Modi will not save Hindus also. 1 lakh farmers suicided in Vajpayee's regime. A secular solution must come at centre.
