There was this headline in the The New Indian Express of yesterday (27-Dec-07):
In the Andamans, 60 trees were felled in a protected area and tourists who had booked rooms in the resorts were asked to cancel their bookings. The reason: A helipad needed to be constructed for Pratiba tai to descend there (instead of taking the 40 min road trip from Port Blair) so trees had to be cut. Tai was not alone. Her entourage included nearly a dozen of her family members. So tourists were asked to leave to accomodate these people.
How does this sound?
Pratiba Patil is en route to becoming the most unpopular President of India. Understandably, rediff did not publish this article. After all the website is seeking new ways to exhibit its Congress bias.

This is another contribution of MADAM Soniya to this country..so shemelessly she ignored the corrupt past of pratibha tai and her involvement in a murder..does she thinks Indians are as fuulish as her son and chmchas?

Panchkula, Afternoon, 3.30pm,Friday , 28th 2007. The rumoured trail of Sri PKDhumal's rath to S CM's Seat is on...RajaSahib Vir P. singh ji of Sirmur argued that whatever these results be ,(only 23 )for his faction ridden congress party, he would stick his neck out till this term of Vidhan Sabha comes to end on March 12 next. It seems ,now, he has reconciled to sit in opposition as expected Dhumal shall be administered his ceremoial Oath ,tomorrow or day after.I think this is minimal decorum to behave as an ex Raja and Fivetimes chief Minister should have .Lest he and his supporters are forced out. Whatever , the appearances BJP ,too has its factions and Sri Shanta kumar is not exactly elated that Dhumal is running away with this CM's Gaddi , that some-how appears to him and his friends as his natural ,fiefdom! Democracy in india is now subect to these see-sawing due to inevitable sleaze ,nepotism and corruption arising from the inordinate greed of elected representatives , who forget the masses once they cosy in the comforts of Democratic percincts of privilege in the State-capital and forget their exra-ordinary promises of jobs , pensions and Milk and Honey for all , leave their hapless simple supporters to yet another round of disillusionment to make them lick dust , once again after 5 yrs, when the franchise gives this opportunity , This is the Sisphyean tale of inflated expectations getting dashed and inevitable incumbency ,for rulers D. Media is a big medium through public opinion can be influenced. In our country the saddest part is almost all the Medias are controlled by Minority community especially Christians and they use this advantage very well to weaken Hindus and to spread Hatred against Hinduism. Example if any wrong person who is in the disguise of a sadhu does a bad thing this Medias will boomerang the issue and will project all Hindu sadhus are like them. But on the other hand they will completely black out any such incidents from a minority community, because recently a Christian Pastor from Tamilnadu scammed crores of money by promising free housing to people, on the process he committed so many murders, also he spent most of this money on girls he even had contacts with top Bollywood actress. It was big news in Regional news paper but none of the English media projected this news, reason is he is from a minority community.

Media whould not req for any knd of vote openion , if Nehru would not declare INDIA as secular country. PAK,BANGLADESH is muslim country, do u think they r lagging any any way.
NEPAL had gutts then that NEHRU of INDIA, HIS rose is indicates AK47, he was very greedy that wy he did india as secular.
COng and CPIM is most 3rd class party in India. They r the main secular party and that is unwritten. Ask CPIM why TASLIMA is still out of Kolkata, though CPIM says WB is most secular party. Sir, cpim is under pressure of Muslim fundamentalist.
Ask COng why AFJAL still live, after attcked on perlament??
I said they did it for VOTE BANK. MUSLIM FRIENDS ask CPIM and COng abt their non progress religion in INDIA.
