voilence is instigated by missioneries

CHRISTIAN MISSIONERIES ARE THE ROOT CAUSE OF VOILENCE.
THEY ARE LURING INNOCENT TRIBAL AND OTHER PEOPLE BY OFFERING MONEY AND OTHER BENEFITS AND BECAME THREAT TO VERY FABRIC OF INDIAN CULTURE.
IF MISSIONERIES STOP THIS PROPAGANDA AND EXPLOITATION THAN THESE KINDS OF INCEDENTS WILL COME DOWN.
CHRISTIAN MISSIONERIES BECAREFUL
WHAT YOU SOW TODAY YOU WILL REAP TOMORROW

Superiority?
by gautam gautam on Dec 27, 2007 08:33 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I have read that when anti-conversion law was introduced in tamilnadu, the hub of conversions, a pastor there called for west to impose economic sanctions. Also check out the message by dom dom below. I want to ask all converts here: do you really think this religion of blackmail is superior??? Come on friends.

US keeps urging/warning India to take care of minorities.

US officials declare in Senate meetings that Indian record in treating minorities is not good and the majority Hindus are ill-treating people belonging to other religions.

Augustine,

These is your response for an offer to convert me!!! No wonder the converts are always tribals, poor, villagers and dalits.

My friend, you claim to be the representative of god. It really pains me to witness messengers of god being messenger of threats. I think you should ask god for forgiveness.

If you are 'driven'.....then this forum is not the place. I trust you are knowledgeable enough to know where to go if you are really interested.

Personally I think though that God lies in the humanity each of us practices.....at least that is the reason I find Christ..and a whole bunch of others (Vivekananda etc) inspiring.

exposed Shame!
by the nation on Dec 27, 2007 08:21 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

i b:long to jain community. our religious leaders or community leaders for that matter never feel the urge to convert poors to our religion out of some good deed... though our community is engaged in a vast and host of welfare projects across our nation..that's simply because we do not seek to align our identity with some third nation "POPE".

and essentially these christian missionary are hardly here with divine intentions of only helping the humanity.... 50 years are a witness to their mass conversions in almost all of the tribal belts..... inlcuding those of missionaries of charity..

religious alterations should be judged from time to time in relation with the mass of it. an exceptional case of converting to another religion might well go with the sober character of a society.... but not a conversion on commercial factory production basis..

i challenge the missionaries to convince the rich and economically prosperous to convert from Hinduism or Jainism to christianity..

they would not be able to do that... not even Teresa could have..

conversions to christianity in North -eastern states allmost all of them, kerala etc. has only fuelled anti-nationalism, seperatism, and unrest among them and which in turn has flung these people quite away from the mainstream of our nation.

I see what you are trying to do here.....unfortunately you are applying backwards/twisted logic.

Need of the hour is for people who believe in Law & Order framework to stand up and make their voice heard, not more of the twisted logic everyone jumps on to apply.

IBM, MICROSFT etc are not CHRISTIAN organizations.

Many in the west showed their middle finger and said "FO" to church.

Less than 25% of westerners practise Christianity. For them, Christmas is a holiday time. That's all.

Same problem distorted facts.

Less than 25%.....who gave u that source?

The number is between 70-80%. And by the way a huge portion of the remaining 20 - 30% are atheists not followers of any religion.

But to your point.......I agree that thinking of companies as belonging to a religion is just a foolish idea.

You said 70-80%. I don't dispute that. What I meant was these 70-80% may be officially Christian, but a majority of them do not consider themselves Christian. For them, Christmas is just a holiday and they don't go to church. They explicitly say that church and Christianity are non-sense, but they just continue to carry the official Christian tag.

Rationality versus superstition
by gautam gautam on Dec 27, 2007 08:12 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Friends, few years back a christian named Benny Heins [not sure of the last name spell] visited bangalore. He claimed to be the representative of god. A function was organised and he is supposed to have provided hands and legs to amputated amongst the audience!!!

I request the government to please close all hospitals. Let's go to benny for miraculous treatment.

This is rationality as opposed to the superstition of hinduism!!!

It's necessary, but not in this way
by Boomshine Saigon on Dec 27, 2007 08:04 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I don't think there is any person today who wants to convert purely for philosophical or theological reasons. The reason today only can be power, money and cheap politics. I am completely against this shit and such 'christian missionaries' need to be thrashed and taught a good lesson...i won't say burning houses, killing people and plundering homes is the right way though..we just need to systematically keep beating them up from time to time...i don't think they (christians and muslims)will let hindus live in peace in india if they become an absolute majority....check out what happens to hindus in pakistan, bangladesh, afghanistan, malaysia, indonesia etc...
