Why don't they convert muslims
by Tarak on Dec 27, 2007 04:07 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

They only convert poor hindus. There is more poverty in muslims, why don't they convert muslims. Everyone knows what will happen if they do so.

This shows that hindus are being very tolerant people. They still complain againt hindus.

It's time for hindus to awake and be strong. We need not worry being tagged as communalists by the likes of likes of english media and self proclaimed intellectuals(psuedo-seculars)

Christians are hypocrites
by Imran on Dec 27, 2007 04:06 PM  Permalink

Christians, they love to talk about how loving, dutiful and compassionate they are, yet I have yet to meet ONE who does not practice hypocrisy to the highest degree. Their willful ignorance of the Bible combined with their two faced idealism to preach it, has made us sick, hasn%u2019t it? For nearly two thousand years Biblicists have been lecturing people on the importance of adhering to the Bible%u2019s teachings on ethics, manners, and morality. They quote Jesus and Paul profusely, with a liberal sprinkling of Old Testament moralism. The problem with their approach lies not only in an oft- noted failure to practice what they preach, but an equally pronounced tendency to ignore what the Bible itself, preaches. Christians practice what can only be described as %u201Cselective morality%u201D. What they like, they cling to and shove down other%u2019s throats; what they don%u2019t like, they ignore vehemently. That which is palatable and acceptable is supposedly applicable to all; while that which is obnoxious, inconvenient, or self-denying is only applicable to those addressed 2,000 years ago. Their hypocrisy is so rampant that even the validity of calling oneself %u201CChristian%u201D is in question

INDIA DIVIDED - ONE MORE REASON FOR DISINTEGRATION...
by Albert Adibadla on Dec 27, 2007 04:05 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Have you people realized this...

Gujaratis hate Rajastanis;
Maratis hate everyone else.
Biharis hate Bengalis
Bengalis hate Tripurites
Tamils hate Kannadigas.
Telugus hate kannadigas
keralites hate tamils
Kashmiris hate everyone else

NOW RELIGIONS ARE FIGHTING WITH EACH OTHER...

THE ONLY THING WHICH HOLDS INDIANS TOGETHER IS THE CRICKET TEAM...

Hi,

I am from Kerala & work in a rather cosmopolitan atmostphere where I get to interact with all kind of people from everywhere. I haven't seen the kind of hatred you try to suggest among people. More over, if tamils hate keralites, will they come to Sabarimala & other places here? Keralites go to Rameshwaram, Kollur etc. As long as the Hindu roots remain, there is no threat to India. Why a Kashmiri Hindu feels Rameshwaram as a holy place? Same way, Tamils are as devoted to pilgrim centers in the North.

With resurgent Hindusim instilling a sense of unity among Hindus & a pride in being a Hindu, I would advice you to stop dreaming on something which is not likely to happen in the foreseeable future.

Nanda

Perfectly healthy society.
by Srinand Kaushik on Dec 27, 2007 04:01 PM  Permalink

This is how a healthy society should behave. We don't need the RSS swayamsevaks or VHP volunteers to check anti-nationalists. The people who have burnt the churches are not from RSS/VHP. In fact the RSS says, it is redundant if the society becomes healthy. Good show. Drive the anti-nationalists out of this nation.

Western countries are better than India. They already showed their middle finger to the church. They don't care much for Christianity.

Only in India, you find "devoted" Christians.

Today's Christianity is for poor people. They are the only ones who care to follow Christianity.

Dear Kalyan Ram,
Read Ramayan, Mahabharath, veda & puranas. Read about ancient India. If a country like India is in poor state inspite of rich heritage & culture you can't blame a religion which is just 2000 years old. Let us correct ourselves so that our poor brothers will not look at the other side of the pasture. One suggestion- read about "rishis" the head of "gotras". It is very interesting.

India is never united as to what it seems from outside......
by Rajiv on Dec 27, 2007 04:00 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

When an Indian goes to a different land then he thinks he is lucky if he finds an Indian friend be it Hindu , Muslim or Christian. The problem starts when he finds many Indian friends because he then starts looking if he is North Indian or South Indian....If he is North then starts looking for his region, religion then his caste.....same with south...if he south then starts looking if he tamil or telugu or kannada or malayalam......then religion then caste....Will this mentality of us will ever change??

If he's the true Indian he'll be proud of himself ..he'll be proud of the culture where he came from ..where we are taught to respect elders and take their blessings by touching their feets ...he should be proud that still in india people are much happier than western ..even though they are poor by assests ..if he doesn't know his culture he would be confused if what he is actually..and will discriminate/ disrespect others...

India is a 'democracy' and NOT 'meritocracy' like Singapore.
by m on Dec 27, 2007 03:59 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

India is a 'democracy' and NOT 'meritocracy' like Singapore.

Hence it is imperative to appreciate 'diversity' in Government (Legislature,Judiciary,Administration) and Private
institutions (Reliance, Infosys etc) in order to prevent socio-economic 'collusion' in India

1. 50% of Judges should be from OBC.
2. 35% Judges should be Dalits and Tribals.
3. Remaining Judges should be from other castes.

Otherwise India might disintegrate into 500 independent states as in pre-BristishRaj.

The current status is:

Kerala - C/o Gulf
Tamilnadu - No Comments
Andhra Pradesh - Telangana movement
Karnataka - Ask Tamilnadu
Bihar,UP - Their weapons are sophisticated than Indian Army's
Bengal - No comments. Chinese will listen.
Seven sister states - Instant death if you are non-assamese.
Punjab - Khalistan
Kashmir - Kidding?
Rajasthan - You are "paradesi" for them.
Maharastra - Ask Biharis in Mumbai.
...

by THE MONK on Dec 27, 2007 04:24 PM  Permalink
The comment on Kerala is wrong.
Current status is it should be equated to Bengal.Previously it was the Russians but now it is the Chinese.
But then the Chinese are most Capitalist then the original Capitalist. Now what?
Kerala is today a Mad House rules by closet Communists.
What Swami Vivekanand said stands true today "Keralam oru Prandalayam" -- KERALA IS A MAD HOUSE / LUNATIC CENTER.
Each and every malayali is concerned about himself.Let it be the Hindu / Christan or the Muslim.
Go to gulf make some money and then flaunt it.The keralite has become extremely status conscious and very vain.
Example: One noble hearted Mallu starts an community organisation collect like minded people for the organistaion.Times later this organistaion takes a formal shape.Next comes the election to select the President / Chairman / Secretary etc.
Time moves into months. Some Weekly & Monthly meetings takes place.Thoughts and opinion clashes.Ego is bruised.Camps are formed.Allegations are hurled. Then the big split comes.Immediately a rival organisation takes birth.
This is common in every Malayali organisation throughout India in every city and Town. The mallu can never function under one common roof.

THIS IS KERALA AND ITS PEOPLE TODAY.

And not as stated by you.

If that was the case then Gujarat & Modi would have a real competition on the development & industrialisation front.

I am sorry but I am also a malayali and have observed my people very closely.
