THe missionaries are using Propaganda against other religions to attract the people. Most of the times people or these psudo seculars don't understand the religious propaganda by the missionaries. They are getting un audited foreign funding to do these. Did anybody audites how much money these organizations are getting from outside?
They are using this to increase their numbers.
The Hindus need to understand and its hight time all neeed to unite irrespective of Caste and Creed. Otherwise by the turn of this century Hindus will be a minority in India.
In Gujrath the Modi win is an eyeopener. All the hindus unite for the cause of Hindus irrespective of Patels Kolis and all. We need those kind of Hindu Unity to preserve the Indian Culture in India.
One example of the Propaganda By missionaries.
They say worshipping Idols is against the will of God and they redicule that nicely. The common people will easily get irritated by this.
You can't simply say the missionaries are getting beating for nothing. The cure for these conversions are not violence. RSS VHP and all the Hindu organizations should reach the hindus irrespective of Caste and Creed. THen this can be easily solved. Because none of the other religions can match with the Spiritual Wisdom of Hinduism.
MOst of the converts doesn't understand HInduism and once they know it, they will not convert.

am in US and been to europe as well. I have never seen any one fighting for church..well they hardly care for church..people over here are so busy in work and so dedicated to their work there is not time or place for church or such religious issue. I can say jesus or churches are brought into India by western countries but these days these countries themselve are not caring for. Why there is fight for jesus or church in India ? I think the mindset of people is laid back or is of stone age in India..thats why they are fighting for such Isuee. I agree these missionaries are converting tribal people into christianity.One question here is what these VHP..RSS or whatever hindu organisations are doing. Have they ever tried to listen to tribal people's plight ? Hence, to do so intelligently we create education systems, economic priorities to build better houses, cars, deal with natural disasters, deal with diseases effectively, and thus figure out ways to deal with problems and issues and thus pursue science, arts, communications, research, interdependent thinking, technological innovation to include as many people as possible to make our lives better. People falsely go to gurus, read holy books, worships all kinds of things misunderstood, as things like Shiva means freedom, Saraswati means knowledge, is not available in temples but in education, industry, work and so for. We compete and plays sports to be healthy, develop our mind with music and so on. Religion is One and simple. People confuse.

People asking to convert in favor of goodies are selfish. religion is there for people to conquer feelings of selfishness , lust, greed etc.

One has to understand that organized religion spreads half-truths under the cover of political and economic power (the same is true for the gurus and temples as well). What we need in clarity of thought, and unity of mind and values, so that people are not confused with half-truths and split into polarized camps always. What we need is a 'unified' philosophy of life so that people can combine the best values of all religions and reject the worst.

Arguments about religion are a waste of time. Unless the mind is cleared, and majority of people find clarity and purpose in life by pursuing knowledge and excelling in skills, and figuring out interdependent ways of coexistence, to develop their own -- body, mind, emotions, intellect, creativity & consciousness -- through art, science, research, technology, education, sports, films, music, athletics so on and so forth -- such time-wasting activities will going on and on.
