The Sinhalese are known for bluffs, baseless clamins, influencing states/people for their evil desires, begging even to a poor, back-stabbing, back-licking.......lot more. So it always need a check with independent sources or parallel stmts given by LTTE Spokemen before.
And not only in Defence related data/info but anything that they mouth are plainly tampered. Take for an example Sinhala socalled Govt will tell the world that only 18% are Tamils in SL. But the fact, the reality is good chunk of Tamils are counted for Sinhalese, Ethinic-Lingual Muslim Tamils whom differ only by religion will be catagorised separately and the Lakhs of Tamil Dispora living world over will be marginanlised.

Quite right! There is also a sinister side to Sri Lanka bluffs. Its army would massacre innocent civilians of Tamil ethnicity and claim they were all LTTE. Unfortunately, the Government of India has very little concern for the victims of Sri Lanka's terrorist activities against the Tamils.
TamilNet states that there was a severe clash around 12.30pm around the Delft Island in which 16Tiger vessels took part. One Sri lankan Dvora fast vessel was sunk and two more were damaged and were towed back by the SriLankan navy to the Kankesanthurai harbour.One was beyond repair and the Sri Lankan Navy had severe casualities. The Sri lankan Navy stated that they detroyed 6 Tiger vessels and killed 40 sea Tigers. I think both have suffered casualities and damages Both sides exagerate the causlities and damages. If we take into account the daily causuality figures of the Tigers as per the SriLankan news , there should be no more Tigers left and The Sri Lankan armed forces should have captured the North. The Tigers must be having an assembly line manufacturing Tigers to fight the large well armed Sri Lankan armed forces.
