The man of the moment in Karnataka
by my message on Dec 26, 2007 05:38 PM  Permalink

Krishna, Kharge, H K Patil, Dharam Singh, Margaret Alva, Janardhana Poojari, M V Rajashekar, Siddaramaiah, Jaffer Sherrif (does not matter that he lost the last Lok Sabha elections - so many of such loosers have important portfolios in the Lok Sabha), B K Hariprasad, Veerappa Moily, and many more top leaders of Congress. Almost the entire congress party consists of people who are senior and who have ambitions of becoming a CM of Karnataka. One more person to this list will not make any difference. Hence, Mr. M P Prakash could join the Congress and add to the cacophony.

BSP's price catch in Karnataka
by frankopenion on Dec 26, 2007 05:18 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

BSP should do all its best to rope in
S Bangarappa, MP Prakash & Co,Siddaramaiah & Co, Ambarish, JD-U leaders, Mahima Patel... etc.
All these leaders are not confortable in their present positions. Together they can form a very strong local political front under the banner of BSP which can fight both Congress & JDS strongly. This time people of Karnataka surely will support each & everybody who tries to rout out Devegowda & Sons from politics.

JDS dissidents
by Anand Yadwad on Dec 26, 2007 04:55 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I guess Prakash and all the dissidents from JDS should join BSP. BSP has done lot of damage to Congress in the last election. Mayavati's new approach of including everybody in the growth might work in Karanataka too. Karnataka people have seen enough of Cong, JDS and BJP. They are desperately looking at the 'fourth' front. BSP might be that force if the leaders like Prakash and other senior leaders join BSP.

BSP is right party to support for every right thinking person. Mayawati is able to strike hard at the root cause of India remaining one of the poorest countries in the world. I hope that good sense will prevail upon Mr. Prakash and he will join BSP.

No religion permits slaughter. Every politival party has indulged in some form of killings to protect thier turf - Congress in Delhi, BJP in gujarat and the Communists in Nandigram. Thus no political party person can in that logic belong to any religion.

Political parties have used our sentiments, whether of religon, languages or castes to get elected. If BJP uses Hinduism, Congress has fostered the reservations and indulged in minority appeasement for their own gains.

I believe that we must ignore the religion or caste sermons given by political parties and judge them on their positive work only.

that is your opinion and does not agree with facts.
some religions/cult explicitly encourage slaughter, enslavement and dehumanisation of non-members.
