My heart aches for the soldiers of this country for doing such a tremendous job while expecting so much less in return. It is a pity that the media doesn't think it worthwhile to report such commendable work.
I must mention, though, that I was in the US while the tsunami happenened, and watched the news and read about the developments there VERY regularly, and just like the doordarshan capsule in India, the washington post and other newspaper reports about Indian Navy's job there was just a fleeting report. The only recovery reported here was about American Troops and NGO's being deployed and working day and night. Everything else was given a convenient back-seat. In fact, this is the first time I've heard about the initial work of the INS.At least the US media covered their own people's efforts, our media...nothing. sad.

They are jealous of Andhra guys.

In most of the IT companies Andhra people are managers and Tamil people are working under them

Kudos to the Indian Army

Sympathy for the fellow human beings and rising to the occasion is in Indian blood and it is at the highest for the Indian Army with the intensive orientation they undergo.Apart from being valiant in the battle field like the king of animals, they came to the rescue of the affected whenever and wherever the country suffered natural calamities like floods, earth quakes etc.It was their bravery and the laudable strategies which were an eye-sore or the LTTE which ultimately engulfed the life of Rajiv Gandhi. They are second to none in any military operational matters and deserve pat on the back. Tears roll in eyes whenever we come across the stories of their heroic deaths for the cause of nation-especially while fighting against terrorism.Their lives are worth emulation for all the youngstes.Every young officer in the army who sacrificed his life is a Balachandra or Abhimanyu. The parents of such illustrious sons are the blessed one who would be remembered in the annals of history along with those of their sons.Any amount of concessions allowed by the Govt to such families is only a piece of twain offered to the MOON GOD.Let us rededicate ourselves at least when we read the episodes of such personalities who are a matter of proud to the nation,to serve our fellow beings with all our mite. After all service to the people is service to GOD. May GOD bless India at least with one son for each family.
