It is unfortunate to come across the rash remarks being hurled at WB CM Buddhadeb at a time when the hapless people of Nandigram are fondly looking forward to the restoration of normalcy in their daily life after 11 painful months of utter chaos and destruction. It is not clear how the CM can be held guilty for the senseless continuation of the violent agitation by the opposition and the resulting total disruption of normal life even after his repeated categorical statements declaring that the proposed chemical hub would not be set up at Nandigram. If the CM feels that his visit to Nandigram will not give rise to any commotion but help the reconstruction of the agitation ravaged area, why should one feel disturbed ?

right, current cm is trying hard for investment. lobbies opposed to investment in bengal have vested interested in halting every proposal. mamata, medha etc are acting as agents.

No one can justify what CPM has done in nandigram.Just imagine, how mothers who lost their sons, will be forcd to attend CM meet, so as to show that she supports CPM, else face Communist atrocities. Who says this CM is pro development, its just comparision , with work of Mr Jyoti Bosu, that work of this CM looks good. nothing else.

I agree with you Buddha is pro-development in comparison with Jyoti Basu. But Other leaders in west Bengal (Mamta and leaders of other left partners)are anti-development. Then whom will people believe.

It is a pity that only CPM is blamed for the riots in Nandigram. By doing this people are conveniently forgetting the plight of CPM activists who were thrown out of their houses. Many of the CPM activists got killed. But every body ignores this fact. I wonder why CPM has failed to bring these realities to light !

Hello, BD is doing 'very very, goodu things.I am telling kill your family person ... they say sorry please... I do not know, how it happened... then put lot of verbal packages, which will be mostly consumed by top cader and gunda... then who lost their life in encounter of land .. will tell give me some like begger. CPM is illiterate on most progressive issues. To educate them is either impossible or take ages. Buddhadeb needs a better platform for his reforms. He should quit CPM and start looking at better alternatives for his reforms.
