Let us call for a ban on slaughter of any animal on Bakrid. This genocide must stop.

Slaughtering of poor Goats, cattle and camels or turkeys on Christmas must stop. We cannot allow such barbaric practice in Gandhi's India! (Ahimsavadi please note). Barbarians can choose to live elsewhere like the occupied territories in Americas, Australia (where terrorist Haneef has been allowed to return and officially kill with his Islamic medicine) or New Zealand.

Religious
by KALKI on Dec 26, 2007 04:52 AM  Permalink

Among the Pandavas, Yudhishtir was called Dharmaraj. Why? Because he always was virtuous and would always speak the truth. Being truthful, helping the needy, following the rules, supporting justice, curbing one's greed and caring for others needs are all signs of being religious. Being religious is no sin as made out by certain so called modern and educated and 'secular' people.
All people who believe in being good are religious, not secular

Sangh Parivar goons continuing their naked dance with their victory in Gujarat.

Sangh Parivar rioters attack churches in several towns in Kondhmal district of Orissa on Christmas celebrations. Hindu extremists are increasingly targeting middle class churches in cosmopolitan centers.

Sangh Parivar not believe in Democracy. It's cadres attacked on a big rally of CPI(M) at Jind, Haryana on 26.12.2007. BJP is a communal party, which is dividing people on the basis of religion and caste for gaining political power.

Sangh Parivar earlier attacked Don Bosco students including adivasi, priests and a sister attacked at Vadodara on 19.12.2007.

Please understand that we are all Indians not necessarily Hindus.

If Mr.Modi's victory is the pride for Hindus of the world. What happened to the Hindus in Sri Lanka????

What Modis and Advanis are doing to protect the Hindus in Sri Lanka??????

Any religion in a matter is a personal belief. It is between Him and His God. Not for politics.

Never ever confuse and mix religion and politics.

Wrongs in Catholic organisations should be revealed to the public and culprits should be punished.

Babri Masjid demolishers also should be punished.

Fake encounters should be stopped at any cost.

No organisation or individual have the right to destroy other's properties, whether it is a Temple, Mosque, Church or Gurdwara etc.

Be sensible Indians to decided which is right or wrong. Wrong is a wrong and right is a right. Whomesoever doing wrong should be punished, whether it is Narendrabhai Modi, or Sonia.

Let us be a human being. Not religious terrorists.

Correction-secular
by KALKI on Dec 26, 2007 04:41 AM  Permalink

The dictionary meaning of secular - not religious, not concerned with religion, not spiritual in nature, etc. I do not think anyone except communists can be secular. Anyone who believes in his/her religion or is spiritual cannot be secular and need not call him/herself so. Being secular is no great virtue. In fact, mostly aetheists and non-believers and evil people are the only persons who are secular.

why did a u.s. consul come to gujarat to see modi?
by Pradip Parekh on Dec 26, 2007 12:40 AM  Permalink

hte u.s. foreign policy is in shambles, and bush-guys have made a mess of the most promising propsects. modi will not accept the american visa unless the u.s. president personally invites modi to camp david and invites modi to address the u.s. congress. u.s. lawmakers need to hear about hindutva from authentic sources, not from missionaries and media.
