It is very surprising that US is realizing this after 6 years. Even during the 80s when Pakistan got aid to help Mujahideens fighting Soviets, a large portion of the fund was transferred to fight a war against India. US knows all these and keeps silent for years and then makes noise.
It was too obvious that even a little kid back here knows it... and "I knew it all" uncle Sam realises it now?... We are no more fools to get smitten by once in a while demonstration of sympathy with selfish motives of Yankees... Just shove that lopsided "nuclear treaty" of yours below your posterior... and wait... we are soon getting "modi"fied...
It is amazing to see how easily the mightiest power on earth, the US can easily be misled, fooled and bled by a few countries, thanks to some lobbyists in Washington and some military dictators who create more enemies to US than friends among the public. Earlier against Soviet invasion of Afganistan, part of US aid to Pakistan to reinforce Afganistan was misused by Pak to build its military might and subvesrive activities gainst India; now under the guise of joining war against terror with US,Pak is using US aid to work against India who, the US asserts is one of its important gloabl allies; much earlier it was revealed that most of the US aid to Philippines was cornered for personal aggrandisement of the then ruler Marcos and his wife. Instead of such idiotic military aid to dictatorial regimes, if US has spent even part of its aid to further the welfare of downtrodden in less developed countries US would have made millions of friends all around.Both US and Russia have not learnt lessons from history about the futility of military aids to propped up regimes. During cold war they wasted public funds to build hundreds of missiles which they could never have used, but then under arms limitation treaties they were only to be dismantled and destroyed over time. What purpose these wasted funds served for the global community except some failed revolutions and wars such as in Vietnam? Intellectuals of the world should unite to discourage misuse of unsupervised flow of military aid.
US knows what pak is doing with the funds given to them,America is reponsible for all Terroism in World after second world war.This is the view of an independant protestant christian.
We certainly don't need the "I know it all"yankees to tell us where did Pakistan spend all the money.Even a kid in India knows what Pakistanis are and what are their feelings about India. Friends,decide for yourself whom would you rather trust,Pakistanis who don't hide their enimity or Americans who sell their friends for their own benifit?
What has the US had sudden revelation ? or are they awaking from sleep ?
Pakistan's primary goal has been to "bleed" India by fighting a hidden war and they have repeatedly said this, even recently the lady Bhutto was making allegations against Rajiv Gandhi. So was the US unaware of this till today or were they deliberately ignoring this.
This failed state called Pakistan needs to be fixed and fast they are a threat to the world.

US is building up excuses to get rid of Musharraf just as was in the case of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Zia Ul Haq. Soon you may here about some "suicide attack" by "Al Qaida" or local muslim fractions or some plane "accident" or "disease" out of which President Musharraf "died".
US seems to be scared of India. It should be. With China emerging as a superpower, and India as well doing well, The US will do the inevitable, i.e., support the black sheep in the region, called Pakistan. US policies have always been like this. Sometimes, they won, sometimes, they lost. Giving military aid is going to be a big loss for the US. I don't know, how the US public don't understand it. OK, Bush us a moron, but not the entire US, which leads the world.
