Unite India through Sports
by Jalaluddin on Dec 24, 2007 10:11 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Develop sports economy. It makes economic sense. What better a profession than being a sportsman ? You are paid to stay fit and in shape, you become popular, you live a healthy life, you get a lot of time to have fun, and earn good money, and be a good citizen. Sports economy in the USA is worth $1 trillion to economic output annually.

Interesting stats

Olympic Gold medals won by country since 1896 to 2007 overall

USA 896
USSR 395
Italy 182
France 184
Sweden 142
China 112
India 9

Amazingly these very countries also are developed and citizens are richer as compared to bottom countries in Olympics medal table.

Sports economy makes total sense.

There is nothing called 'Hinduism', as it is not an 'organized religion' whose failure was realized in Europe when 'renaissance' happened they became secular and in America with their 'constitution' and Jefferson's writings. The Chinese and Japanese where always secular in their life & approach. The similarities of all these thoughts can also be found in the Upanishads. Unfortunately, Islam could not break free of the shackles of organized religion which the West could as they had the influence of the Greeks. The Far East nations had the influence of Confucious, Buddha, Lao-Tzu & even Communism. Hence, there is nothing to convert to; as the whole progressive world is secular and follows Uniform Civil Code. Every developed country in the world is secular and follows one-law and the best practices across imaginary organized religions, genders, and all other time-wasting divisions. Religion is One. Human Body, Mind, Human Spirit & Human Creativity, Gender Equality are the only religious attributes worth pursuing. Rest are all questionable and wasting one's energy and destroying oneself. Muslims (not generalizing as people have not chosen their religion) need to understand that their religion has caused them more harm than good. The earlier they break free of their self-righteous, status-quo mentality, and accept Uniform Civil Code, the more they will benefit and progress and will join the great creative force of humanity and enjoy life in general. This will end the untold misery

Jalaludin That will be great. but In India people dont even have a decent track to do jogging. Most of the public park tracks are occupied by stray dogs and monkeys. Sports is great . Some how we should encourage people to play volly ball, tennis etc in addition to cricket. At least it is good for their mental and physical health.

these guys are pseudo sceintists and psudo secularists backed by their marxist friends .
They should be left and the channel should be thrown in the dust bin for giving false information time and again in the garb of freedom of press and in thier unscientific voting pattern studies.
At least they should be asamed of doing this now and apologise to the nation for continously giving stupid and false information.
Just because they own a tv channel it does not mean that they can bark like dogs.

Its time to build even greater future
by Vinal Gandhi on Dec 24, 2007 10:03 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

People of Gujarat have slapped all the so called secularists and opportunists once again. Now what the media, the dissidents, the congress said is all irrelevant. They are not going to learn lesson and we have to learn to ignore them. Now is the time for Modi to build even better Gujarat. The people are with him. He has tamed the bureaucracy- the usual bottleneck on the road to progress. He has no detractors left in BJP and congress is back to its place. So He has everything going for him to build Gujarat of future. All the best to Modi. We are with you.

With CMs like Narendrabhai, Gujarat should become superior to western countries in most respects within a decade or two.

Gujarat Election
by BALA R on Dec 24, 2007 10:03 PM  Permalink

Hello, Evry true Indian must be happy for the results but Modi has to work hard abd raise beyond, caste, colour and creed to become the PM of India. he must not follow Hindutva or pseudo secularism like Sonia and her clownish leaders...he must follow pure secularism and win the hearts of Billion Indians. A Govt which once refused entry of Modi must beg Modi for investment opportunities in India and Modi should slap her face with an answer "NO". Victory is not permanent and the results should not go to his head! he must work hard as we want him to be the PM of India.
