Pseudo Secularists Congress, Commies and of course Media wanted Hindus to believe that Modi is a demon and all hindu gods, Allah and Jesus are with Muslims. But now after the result all those pseudo secularists (even muslims too) have realized that even Allah is with Modi. Sonia should know that if ever Modi fights an election against her in Italy, Modi would be the winner.

Yes. It is bad to say that you are a Hindu and the country should be run according to the wishes of Hindus, the majority. When other countries run according to the wishes of the majority - Srilanka, Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, China (reg Tibet), US and UK (where families of visitors should deposit GBP1,000 per person[?] etc etc, India should never risk getting a bad name.
When Mr Haneef was sent back by australia, it is okay. But if you send back a Taslima, who enjoys bashing Indian government in media and think that its her right to be in India, it is wrong - we ant risk a bad name.
He has won very convincingly and it is a fact to be accepted with grace. No one should question the intelligence of the average voter of that state. He should be allowed to go on with his good work of development of state. No one is perfect and can find universally appealing solutions to a complex problem of governing a state. Do not try to brand people and divide society which already is having more serious problems waiting attention.
makes a lot of sense as the secularists in India are more fundamentalist than the BJP. Every religion in the world has problems/issues but you dont find in other countries where the majority religion is attempted to be wiped out by the so-called secularists as in India. The Hindus like me have no choice but to vote for people like BJP even though they know it is not the optimal choice because the alternative congress,left etc are pro-muslim and anti-hindu in their ideologies. As long as Left and Congress are dominated by anti-hindu folks I will always vote for BJP.

Bhubaneswar, Dec. 24: Tension prevailed at Daringibadi region in Phulbani district following an alleged attack on a noted Hindu seer by a minority group.
The seer %u2014 Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati %u2014 was on his way to Brahmnigaon village to see some youths who were injured after being attacked by some members of a minority group.
The minority community youths intercepted the seer%u2019s vehicle, dragged him out and attacked him with sharp weapons.
Although the police is yet to cite reasons for the tussle between the two communities, sources say one group was opposed to the construction of a religious gate by the other group.
According to Viswa Hindu Parishad state media cell chief Debasis Tripathy, Laxmananda has sustained serious injuries and he has been admitted to a hospital.

what secularist parties are you mr.edi tor talking about?? - is majority trashing secular? - is providing reservations to muslims secular? - there are other minority communities, more minor then muslims , like Bhuddhists, Sikhs, Jains, Parsis, Christians..., but why only muslims. - about 10% muslims have good business, 2 -5% are in govt.jobs, >10% do some good hand-works and mineal labours. Do we still need to give them reservations? _ compare with christian converts, buddhists... - have you ever heard that a muslim fellow died of starvation??
we need more Modis. if congress does not mend its ways, it will find itself in same condition as in Gujrat !!!

Ummm.. agree with a good portion of the write up, but not the tailpiece.. first of all, the order is messed up. first comes islamic fundamentalism.. then comes the secular fundamentalism and the Hindu "reaction" to both of these.
Secondly, about Hindu "fundamentalism" let me quote from the Five Volume Study "The Fundamentalism Project" by Chicago University. In its first Volume titled "Fundamentalism Observed", in page 820, the editors of the volume says.
"Some of the traits of fundamentalism examined here are more accurately attributed to the 'People of the Book', the Jews, Christians, and Muslims, than to their first, or distant cousins in their fundamentalist family: Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, and Confucians. Sacred texts do not play the same constitutive role in South Asian and Far Eastern traditions as they do in the Abrahamic faiths, nor is history conceived as a structured drama proceeding inexhorably to a climactic final act"
Modi has done good and opposition tried to trash it. Well it came back and people started looking at others what they have done 60 years in the power. 1. Traded lands of India for political gains. 2. Traded dignity of India for personal gains. 3. Traded rhetoric for vote gains. 4. Traded resources of India to accumulate wealth in Swiss Banks. 5.upported lallo Yadav, Yadavs prodyuced yadavasthali and drove even Krishna out of Bihar. Who gave support and placre to live him -Gujarat and no other part of India.
Thus a good work inrelation to work done by others have magnified to look larger than life achievement. Whose fault? Secularistr and upper class that hates a common man vaishya has done better than them. Manu Smruti has to go.So does other social books.

I agree with all your comments but last few lines where you are utterly wrong. I am an upper caste Hindu & i will be 1st to put my life on risk for Modi & any such person who works for Hindus & it doesnot matter whether he is of upper or lower caste. Caste system were not produced to demean someone but to organise the society based on type of work a person did. Caste & many more such worst practises of Hindus like Sati got developed into their abominable forms only because of insecurity of last 1300 years where muslim barbarians plundered the nation & raped the women folk (thus leading to sati system to protect their honours in those very tough times when w/o husband they had no proper system of support left). And remember whenever anything grows bigger, cracks starts developing & which when not take care of, in time, results into its dismemberment & exactly that happened with Hinduism as becas of sheer size of Hindu population it had required continuous guidance from seers but during last 1400 hundred years of struggle for survival it had no proper leadership to guide it & remove any such sours (bad practises) from getting developed. Now we are same Hindus & you can well see caste is no where in the mind of any WELL educated person (& neither is the support for sati etc) & thus have patience & give us all some more time as this is 1st time in last 1400 years when Hindus have a favourable time to prosper.

Right Amitabh: The ancient caste system was to organize people according to the work they performed.. This usually got handed down generations, and therefore got labelled as caste system..
You can still see it in action even today.. Nehru-Gandhi family is an example... :-) The Khsatriya (who always rule) crown is being handed from Jawaharlal to Indira to Rajiv to Sonia and now to Rahul.. and will continue. Does that mean Congress is a casteist party? One wonders.....
