As the article mentions few major achievements - 1. Low corruption / relatively clean administration 2. A hands on Chief Minister - working closely with local administration when Surat was flooded 3. 22 HOURS of POWER in VILLAGES - an almost unheard of thing in any other state of India (as far as I know) 4. Strict administration - strict handling of power theft cases 5. An awareness of what needs to be done - work on rural health... 6. Law and order - peace and safety 7. A sense of national pride - may be for many (so called secularists) this is not of huge importance, but for nationalists this is equally important.
What more does one expect from an administration? Clear focus on specific state responsibilities to deliver the results to people.
It hardly matters, what is the religion of the man, or what is the caste composition of the elected representatives.
We need facilities, and an enabling administration, so that we can carry on with our daily lives and work towards our own goals.
these people are sinners.they want to kill hindu religion and disgrace hindus. people like modi are protecting hindus otherwise hindus are second rated citizens in india
The last para of the article is suggestive of the notion that secular fundamentalism is a new phenomenon whereas the fact is our country was found on the so called principles of secular fundamentalism - thanks to the likes of Mahatma Gandhi and Nehru.
Islamic fundamentalism is not a new phenomenon either - it was always there. At last after about 1000 years Hindus have in a small way started asserting themselves, and it is called Hindu fundamentalism. In a majority Hindu country, we cannot even be proud of our religion. We cannot say that out temples have been destroyed during the muslim rules; we cannot say that Hindus were treated as second class during the muslim rules; we cannot be proud of Shivaji; we have to say Lord Rama did not exist and that he belonged to the myths whereas personalities from all other religions are for real, etc. What a shame!!!

the electronic media who r totally biased and pseudo-secular hindu bashing, and the eng press who r agents of US and UK. dont watch such channels which has no credibility at all. let their trp shrink down to nil. also same for the eng press. go and support for vernacular press of any religion whether of north or south indian language.
MRV is representation of groomed secularalist as stated by B RAMAM in another article i read on rediff. He is groomed by congress which ruled india for 50 yrs out of 60yrs of independent india. A secularist in the eyes of congress is a defensive who shys of being recognised as hindu and never protests or questions the minority favours rendered by the govt. MRV seems lacking the basic democratic feel of respecting the peoples mandate in gujarat.
While muslims, christians are being used as vote banks... Congress tried the formula KHAM (caste religions) what will you say is secularism. Secularism doesnt mean castigating hindus and using minorities as vote banks.
It is good in indias interst to realise this asap to remain in world polity as a strong developed country.
Most of the English kournalists are educated in Convent schools-where Christianity is force fed. As it happens in the convents, femal reporters are restricted from sporting Bindi on their fore head. They are exposed to case studies and lessons that decry India and Hinduism in journism schools and media houses. Therefore they have a fixed anti Hindu prism in their reporting. It is combined with elite and class arrogance that makes them reject the grassroots leaders like Modi, Lalu, Yadhav, Mayavati, Uma Bharati, etc. They are relatively OK with urbane, suave and elite leaders like Chandra Babu, Navin Patnaik, Vasundara Raje, Sheial Dixit. Recently a reputed journalist of NDTV was asking Arun Jaitley how could a urban suave person like you become friend of Narendra Modi?. It doesnt take Sonia to task for Muslim appeasement-such as Ram dont exist affidavit, Taslima ill treatment, 15% planning allocation, etc. Sonia says something sensational and half a dozen of her spoke persons come give varied explanations appealing to differet vote banks. Media doesnt have the fire to challenge Sonia hit and run politics. Because MEDIA PERSONS WORSHIP HER WHITE SKIN AD ITALIAN ORIGINS.
Stop temple donations being given to mosques , and instead do it the other way for the next ten years to atone for what has been done in the past. Give the $40m Hajj subsidies for all religions - hindus , xtians , sikhs , jains , buddhists , muslims . it will mean hindus getting less per capita , but at least they will get something. Enforce common civil code - end of polygamy -impose a three child limit . At current rates ie a tripling ever 50 years , india will have over 6b people this century ! , 20 times that of USA in a country one third the size. It will turn into a desert . Start flat rate welfare for all small families - Rupees 1000 a month for all adults until the birth of the third child. Those who say India cant afford it , how will it afford imports for 6,000m? At current rates Islam will be the majority religion in india by 2075 and sharia law will be enforced - burqas , stoning , blasphemy laws. Do we want to live in an India like that Arun

Muslims in India are claiming to be secularists on the outside - but quietly on the sly increasing their numbers. Their secularism will go up in smoke the day their number crosses the 50 percent mark. God save our nation then.
But such facts have no visible effect on the psuedo secularists.

Begin by calling yourself a Bharatiya or Hindustani. We could stop using the word INDIA.
Slowly but surely people will realize that unequal treatment is not what the citizens will tolerate. Secularism is abused by the politicians who proclaim themselves as true secularists.
as per rediff: Ziauddin Shaikh, a shopkeeper, says, Modi is a reality and Muslims cannot do anything about him. We have to live with him. I feel we all have to come to one understanding. If you cannot defeat Modi, then join him...
what guj minorities r talking, i hope minorities all over india start talking and mingling with the majority for their own and nation's good.
A AVERAGE HINDU IS BEING ISOLATED BY CHRISTIAN PARTIES AND MUSLIM PARTIES AND SECULAR PARTIES.
congress became a christain party, supporting and funding christian missioneries and converting hindus etc etc and it has colluded with muslims and doing every act which hurt the sentiment of majority hindus. hindus are becoming second class citizens in india. this feeling among majority hindus has prompted to vote for narendra modi. congeress is going to be a dead party soon unless it changes its stand
