Venkatesh is blatantly wrong in his sequencing of fundamentalism
by Tathagata Mukherjee on Dec 26, 2007 02:38 AM  Permalink

Venkatesh is blatantly wrong in his sequencing of fundamentalism. He writes:

"Secular fundamentalism would give rise to Hindu fundamentalism, which would in turn trigger Islamic fundamentalism. "

ITS ISLAMIC FUNDAMENTALISM WHICH WORKS HAND IN GLOVE WITH SECULAR FUNDAMENTALISM.

HINDUTVA IS A REACTION TO BOTH.

As the years go by and common man gets more educated and AWARE he or she will realize India is the land of HINDUISM where are other religion or sects are welcome as long as they agree to live free UNDER THE HINDIISM umbrella and not attempt to take the umbrella down . If they cannot then they should get out or convert back.

The solution to India's problems
by Kumar on Dec 25, 2007 11:37 PM  Permalink

You heard it first from me. The solution to India's problems is to give leadership positions to the strong leaders coming from the OBC castes that have very small numbers such as Modi's caste. All the leaders in India who come from castes having a significant majority be it Yadav, Singh, Baman, Kurmi, Dalit, farmers, Reddys can never ever rise above their caste intrests and work for national intrests. So give power to the leaders from small in number OBC castes since they have a great deal of fairness and love for justice in their hearts.

anti hindu media and parties
by Radhey Agarwal on Dec 25, 2007 08:02 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This is matter of great relief to the Indian Nation that electorate of Gujrat has set an example for India and has come of age. Respected Voters (particularly young voters) did not believe print media (as message of God) and TV media reports (As akaswani from unknown) as shlokas to be followed and voted for welfare of Gujrat and wel being of India. People of Gujrat deserve appreciation from all Indians for this courage to stand to their ideology despite aggresive propaganda by all anti-development parties and TV and Print Media focussing only on past mistakes to rouse communal feelings and divide the society once again.

Does the Political parties, print media and TV channels have the courage to the change the name of "Aurangjeb Road" to some other name of muslim nationalist. To my knowledge you all know the atrocities of Aurangjeb but nobody will like to speak although no muslim brether will raise a voice against this change of name. It is high time that we all Indians think only as Indians and not as castes and communities only. Political parties are dividing the nation by inventing different theories which are not good for India nation.

All Indian Electorate should take a lession from Gujrat and vote after knowing the facts and do not by what print and tv channels and political parties say to divide the Indian population on the basis of caste and communities.

Jai Hind

Another stupid chennai tamil brahmin
by true tamilan on Dec 25, 2007 08:00 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Another apologetic stupid tamil brahmin from Chennai. He shud have been working for chindu, chennai based chinese national newspaper "Hindu".

What does he mean by triggering of islamic fundamentalism? I have never heard about islamic fundamentalism. Have anyone ever have? Gimme a break.

He does not talk about the divide and rule policy which coongress has been following from indira gandhi time. She started all the caste equations and religious equations in indian polity. What happened to Kshatriy, adivasi and muslim votebank pandering followed by congress. I did not know any sub division of hindu votes or pandering to christians or muslims is considered secularism by Indian public and media.

False Tamilan,

How in the hell do you assume that Venkatesh is a Brahmin name!! You rabble-rouser!

"Jati illayadi papa, kullam thazthi uyarthi sollal pavum, papa" (there is no Jati, only Kula) - remember Mahakavi Bharathi's very important message. Live by Tamizh teachings if you are really a "True" Tamilan. Please let go off your stale "Brahmin" this and "Brahmin" that! Know that Tamizh nools such as Peria puranam have no references to Jati, only Kulam. Ofocurse fed by the "Thira Vidam" poison, you are hopelessly lost, while your "angels of mercy" are laughing their way to the bank! Wake up, dumbo!

Please know that the "Chindu" that you refer to is run by a card carrying commie, Mr. N. Ram, so Mr. Venkatesh will not find a place there! So in an open blog don't flaunt your ignorance.

How secularists played into Modi's hands
by chandrasekaran rathna on Dec 25, 2007 05:13 PM  Permalink

We should extensively publish this artcle for sake of the good of our country EXCLUDING what is said about Nehru and M.G.Ramachandran who are rank cheats and Basu who would pledge our country for the sake of his party, example, Nandigram and sell our Nation for his trans country interest.

Modi has awaken us INDIANS not merely the Gujaratis. He is the ASSET of our NATION, true decendant of SARDAR PATEL.

LONG LIVE LONG LIVE NARENDRA MODI LONG LIVE.

Modi should ultimately take the reins of our country in our lasting interest.

RE:RE:''I am the CM; I will be the CM''; CM means ''Communal Minister''. He started his journey to Delhi. Indian people must unite and resist how V.P. Singh stopped the Rath Yathra. Now Sangh Parivar planning communal violence throughout India.
