Divide and rule Trick is OLD and can only work so may times, people have caught up to it. imo it will no longer work in future to return its past results. India is 80% hindu any party that creates its platform on undermining the 80% interests will have increasingly tougher task in future until it gets obliterated. Party of the future will appease the 80% hindus of however many fractions.

Forget Muslim issue for a second. What about banning of Da Vinci Code by different States even after Indian Supreme Court ruled that the movie can't be banned?
PSUEDOS DELIBERATELY BANNED THE MOVIE IN ANDHRA, PUNJAB, TAMIL NADU TO PANDER XTIAN ZEALOTS WHICH WAS COMPLETELY AGAINST INDIAN JUDICAL VERDICT.
NOT A SINGLE PSUEDO PROTESTED.
Has any Western Counrty banned Da Vinci Code?
WHY WESTERN PRESS DID NOT GIVE ELABORATE COVERAGE TO THIS AND TERMED IT AS PANDERING TO XTIAN FUNDAMENTALISM?
Its things like these, blatant pampering of minorities, but exact opposite position in case of Hindus which has destroyed Secularism in India.

You have the right to ask for freedom of speech, you have stand by this in truthfulness. That means you stand by M.F. Hussain and Taslima and Davinci Code with the same attitude. Otherwise you are a hypocrite.

Secular fundamentalism would give rise to Hindu fundamentalism, which would in turn trigger Islamic fundamentalism. Would the secularists, both within the media and the polity, introspect this issue in greater depth at least now?
