I feel the people of Gujrat have replied strongly to Mr.Karunanidhi and Mr. Bhattacharya. Condemning the belief of people of whatsoever religion is in no way right.It hurts deep inside.People at responsible position should avoid using such remarks against religious beliefs. Even if Ram is a mythological charecter he enlightens the lives of millions of people and what Mr. Bhattacharya is doing,glorifying the killing of innocent and raping of minors in Nandigram. Electonic media should also learn a lesson that in democracy it is the people who are the real kings.

Gujaratis have given a slap on the face of congress and a big kick at their back ..
It is not Modi but Congress's tricks could not work in Gujarat.
Congress does not have any basic secular values which they have showed in their speech so it has invalidate congress's standing for the Gujarat elections.

For US democracy is God. That being the case, Modi has been democratically elected thrice in a very fair election, not a sham like what happens in communist countries or communist ruled states of India!! Now at least US should amend its blunders and send him a visa if not apologize (I know their ego is too huge to do that!)

BJP earlier won election in Gujrat on Babri Msjid issue, the last election Mian Musharraf helped him and in this election Sohrab Uddin and Afzal Guru together helped him to won the election.
It is an irony that a Hindu communal party can not win election on its own without the blessing of muslim.

A few days back, an eminent Gujarati, on TV, commented that in Gujarat, we are confusing electricity with murder.
It seems true today, that a murderer and rapist who provided economic development is what the people chose...never mind the atrocities committed against minorities, the state of fear and persecution that exists.
70 years ago, Hitler took Germany up from the ruins of World War I through similar economic development and made her the predominant power in Europe. The cost - another World War, and some 20 million dead. There were a lot of people who cheered his rise as well, as Jews and other minorities were persecuted across Europe. The similarities are uncanny.
This victory is a lesson for all: The Congress has the most spineless Centre and state representation. They focussed on attacking Modi on all the wrong grounds, and failed. It is a failure of Sonia and Manmohan, not so much a success of Modi. How else can one understand the silence over the explosive Tehelka expose by the Cong?
The BJP has not won either. It is Modi, who has risen above and beyond the party, who has captured majority support. There is a crisis brewing in BJP as the Lok Sabha elections come - an old and tired Advani or a vibrant and victorious (albeit criminal) Modi...
As for the people of Gujarat - Congratulations. You deserve the govt. you choose. If the state prospers under a murderer and the people feel good about it, so be it. True democracy and secularism are dead and gone.

Choose your words carefully. One of the most succesful business communities over the world and one of the most economically developed states of India, do not develop by fluke despite (your alleged) mistake of electing rapists and murderers 3 times in a row. By the way, Hitler had global ambitions which caused holocaust and the world was different allowing him to grow initially to the limit where he could aspire so. Modi's era is different and his win is not military or anarchist, it is democratic. Or is it so that you are afraid your JNU ideologies will be gone soon OUT of India?

Does the carnage of Sikhs in Delhi by Congress mean nothing to you? Isn't Congress a party of murderers too? Do murders have a expiration date in your perspective or do Sikh lives mean nothing to you? Killing and raping Sikhs is an act of secularism to you, whereas killing Muslims is communal? Boss, who's supporting Congress? They are probably worse, with no ideas left. The Sikh PM has no qualms defending the party that killed his community in '84. They are definitely not paragons of virtue, and should be weighed on the same scale as Modi for killing Sikhs.
But that does not justify anything, does it? Two wrongs don't make a right, do they?
The BJP won because Congress is NOT an alternative. It has not been for a long time.
Look at its shameless silence over Tehelka tapes, and then handling of Taslima. They are the true scum, and I for one, have no problems admitting it.

Nehru-Gandhi family never claimed that they are descendents of Mahatma Gandhi - They fooled people by calling themseleves as Gandhi as Feroze Khan changed his name from Feroze Khan to Feroze Gandhi (Apparently taking his mother's maiden last name pronounced Gun-dhi) to get married to Indra priyadarshini. So really Rahul and Priyanka are paternally Muslims and now maternally Christians. If people are still believing that they are from Gandhi family, then why won't they take advantage?
