The is still smarting under the defeat. It call the election win in Gujarat due to divisive politics, but keeps forgetting about its own role in Sikh riots of 1984. Its hands are washed with blood of innocent victims. The way it is conducting it self with its side kick the communists on the Taslima affairs puts a hole in its secular image.

kya baat karte ho .. she is accompanying her prince rahul baba on an another road show .. "how to save congress's face ?"
Gujarat result has proved that Sonia is not an asset for the party in campaigning nor her immature son Rahul. Congress had a great opportunity in Gujarat that Sonia sppoiled by not naming a single leader who will become CM; Gujaratis are not charmed by Italian skins to vote Congress which has no agenda, plan or a party leader to absorb their mandate. Dump Sonia if Congress wants to survuive.

she is even a liability on congress .. but what to do .. congress useless leaders dont have any option to go anywhere else at this age.
The Gujarat election results are a fitting reply to Mr. Sonia's above remarks. There is no need of any explanation or excuses from Congress. Using great peoples names (Gandhi/Nehru) is not enough to win elections. Those people were great because they did great things for India. Now that names are using in USA for printing on Underwears because Congress, Sonia & Rahul misused it & lost it greatness.
I agree that it is too early to talk about Hindu Fascism..
Also, it is true that most Hindus do not care about the activities of VHP, Bajrang Dal, etc. It may be too early to call it Hindu Fascism. But again, there is convergence of ideas that is happening. The sense of supremacy amongst middle class and academia that is gaining traction because of booming economy, the need to identify ourselves closer to our prisitine religion because of rapid urbanization, the lack of tolerance towards opposing views, questioning of one's patriotism to define nationalism, etc, are all mainstream. They may not necessarily be aligning themselves with VHP, Bajrang Dal, BJP, etc, but they are definitely sympathetic in many ways. By condoning their acts, or by staying silent on their acts, or by being ambivalent about them, we are allowing certain prejudices to grow. It will catch up in a generation or two.
I believe it is the Dawn of Indian Hindu Fascism because I see the seeds for such covergence happening right now. I could be completely wrong. That would be good for all of us. If it is indeed right, is it not better to take right precautions instead of brushing it aside?
