Kapil Sibal should not think that only he is intelligent, secular and nationalist! 5 crore people of Gujarat have ovewhelmingly supported Modi's development programmes. Who is this Sonia Maino to blame him as "Merchant of Death"? She and her band of cohorts have been tought a befitting lesson!
If Sibal abhors Modi, there are crores who detest Congress' policy of appeasement and effort to divide the society in the name of secularism. Are not Muslims safe in Gujarat now? Is there any communal tension after Godhra-2000? Why flame communal tension through chamchas like Shitalvad etall?
Progressive Indian Muslims must cooperate with Modi to build a strong Gujarat which would be in their best interest too
Congress must learn the following immediate lessons. ( They never learn though!)
1. They need local powerful leaders. If it is only Sonia, they will lose forever.
2. They need to learn how to unite Indians. Saying that they have been representing all Indians and working only on caste arithmatics will not help if you have more Modi's in India who will unite Hindus and oblitertae casteist equations at least in the electoral arithmatic.
3. They must remove the so called Intelligent but arrongant partymen like Kapil Sibal and the obviously sycophant Dasmunshis and install down to earth congressmen with a Pan Indian appeal in Key Positions.
Atleast for now, accept the truth, otherwise people will think that u all are mad and always lie. Mr sibal is correct at one point that modi didnt won because of"merchant of death" remark by sonia. He won because of his development agenda, but congress tried to label him as communal leader by that remark in which they failed. They thought that as usual, they will shout and people will be befooled but that didnt happened. media was also too biased in favour of congress as per the hope of congress, they all worked to defeat modi at any cost, but we all should remember that Indians are not fools, they know to whom they should vote and their decisions cant be changed by various propoganda's. Had BJP's dissendents (Like keshubhai, mehta etc) and media's propaganda not been there,congress could have completely wiped out of gujarat.You can easily think of that situation when modi could have crossed the figure of 160 in assembly of 182. So, accept now that modi is very popular and pro-people leader.
Unless we Indians understand the concept of smaller government, I find it difficult to be optimistic about a change in our daily lives.
Think about it, - The government is the biggest employer in the country - The government does NOT make any money, it collects money and then spends it in an un-wisely fashion (I am saying that in a very polite way)
We are still living in this seudo-communist state, where we think government is the solution to all problems. When infact, government is the root of all problems.
I will not blame any government here. It is the nature of the Beast. It is not the right institute to solve our nations problems.
Government will always pander to get votes, because it is a political outfit. We need less government and more private firms.
Private firms run on profits, THE BOTTOM LINE. They have benchmarks They are accountable They have to make profits (Share Holder investment) They are LESS prone to corruption They have leadership that is not pandering to any voting block They encourage competition, eventually to the benefit of the consumer They do NOT have reservations They reward hard work They FIRE lazy people
Agree, private firms cannot do everything. The nations defense, Tax collection, Judiciary and some other functions need to be with the government. Nothing more than that.
A bigger government is a recipie for discrimination, exploitation, corruption and FAILURE.

I totally agree with you. The government's business is to govern the country and not in selling steel, cement, etc.
The government shall be in charge of defence, Justice delivery, Foreign Affairs.
The rest of the work shall be shifted to the Private Indian Companies who will do the government within time and cost and quality.
India will be a better country to live when this happens. Only a US type of government shall bring this kind of events to India and make it possible.
same sibal told that sonia never called modi as merchant of death. After congress lost he is claiming truth has to be told. This is the true nature of congress. Even after Modi was accused of killing muslims, he remained defiant and never once changed his stance. But congress has changed its stance 1000 times. this proves congressis Slimy, sleazy, fcukin aaaaaaaassooooles and first rate opportunists and chameleons. Congress is the party of history, BJP is the party of future.
It is time, that whimpering sardar who was a mere govt servant with zero leadership quality and nominated by a housewife from gandhi family to be PM, not because he had any quality but because he is "safe", should be thrown out and a strong leader like Modi should come in.

The U.S. does not like strong leaders in vassal nations.Whoever leads India tomorrow,once these Congress wimps are wiped out,needs to take on not only lily livered Indians (better to be dead in Louisiana than alive in India) but the bullying tactics of the U.S.
