I feel safe for my future generation in my beloved mother land
by Tamil Arasan on Dec 23, 2007 11:00 PM  Permalink

Today is one of the happiest days in my life time, I will have peaceful sleep today because Guajarati voters have shown the strength of Hindu unity to world no matter how much the NGOs, pseudo secularist and Media tried to break it. Bravo Guajarati community we salute you, Thanks a lot for your commitment towards Hinduism. Now Congress and Communist will think 100 times before announcing any minority appeasement policy, other wise Sonia and Co may bring a 50% reservation for the minority everywhere.

Modi - Only one capable of making India a strong state?
by Rahul Patel on Dec 23, 2007 10:18 PM  Permalink

It seems like that to me...don't even get me started on Congress, which has no one with a backbone straight up to our own PM, and even in BJP, Advani is aging and after him second-rung leaders have trouble connecting with people. I envision Modi as PM, pulling up ministers in his own government for poor performance, harassing IAS officers and other bureacrats for not meeting expectations...administration needs to change at the Centre too like it has changed in Gujarat. And a man as PM who other nations will know not to mess with.

Gujarat Results
by Ramdas Iyer on Dec 23, 2007 09:52 PM  Permalink

It was funny how all non BJP politicians kept harping on how communal Modi got elected and lamenting the fact. They were all implying that the Gujrati voters were idiots to say the least, but pathetically none had the guts to say so because they will be begging for the same votes from the same Gujratis tommorrow. They were all mouthing platitudes like Janata Janardhan and things like that. That is the power of democracy. Whomever we vote for not even the slimiest of politicians be it Tytler or Lallu, everyone will grin and call us Janata Janardhan. It is another matter that if they get a chance in private they will not think twice before slitting our throats.

why muslim vote important ?
by sheikdawood sadhic on Dec 23, 2007 09:24 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

With sure innocence-- I don%u2019t why these politicians are all ways thinking to concentrate only 10 % percent votes? Not only in Gujarat - but in all over India--
Further if any one try to get data from EC on how much Muslims really participating in voting will be much useful to understand. As far as I know Muslims are not much participating in contesting election -- in other words whether this means that they are not participating in voting also? -- as this being the case if ANY POLITICIANS HIGHLIGHTING ANY ISSUE REGARDING MUSLIMS in the sake of vote ( not regarding terrorism [ a case of such nature really exist]) then that means that he is fooling the people ?
pls send responsible comments-- if so if any one having ....

Muslim should join BJP in large numbers. So they can share the power and check the BJP.

Hatred wouldn't take you anywhere.

Muslimes should vote in elections, prominent people from the muslim community should announce before the elections to the muslim public at large to participate in elections, moderates and englightened literate muslims should come forward for this exercise , this has to be poeoples movement and cannot be done by politicians, i am from south india and there muslims are very educated and forward thinking unlike north india where muslims allow themselves to be exploited by politicians and other mullas , maulivis from within the community, no wonder india's ex president and foremost missile scientist from asia is from south india

Well said. People of all religions should live in India peacefully. Lets hope that the Congress government stops its pseudo secularist mindset and concentrates on bringing up poor people of all communities irrespective whether they are Hindus, Muslims or Christians.
