Congress leaders-other than Sonia Gandhi-are not willing to admit that Madam has become a liability to them. She is not a mass leader. She cannot connect to the people during her public meetings. Congress is keeping her at the top solely because of her surname "Gandhi" and to ensure that party does not get split into 1000 splinters. It is in the interest of BJP to ensure that Sonia continues to head the Congress party and Dr Manmohan Singh, who is another non-mass based leader as Prime Minister. Congress is unable to come up with issues/slogans, if not tangible development, to generate enthusiasm amongst their grass root workers and the people. I'm no fan of BJP though!!

As mentioned by you I agree that the other leaders of Congress will not accept that Mrs.Sonia Gandhi is a liability to them. She has failed to connect the people during public meetings and I too agree our Prime Minister Dr.Man Mohan Singh is failed in gathering the public by way of this attractive speech. I feel now congress should seriously search for a new national leader.
We need Modi kind of guts leaders otherwise Congress can surrender this country to Muslims and terror groups completely as Cong did in AP...in AP now total Muslim MLA is not more than 4 but they are thertening the lifes of evrey Govt employee if the questain unautorized use of Electric connetion or any thing else....there is not Govt in Hyd old city due to Congress vote bank politics and all MIN goondas is ruling parllel govt....and Muslims strated planting bombs all over Hyd due to cong vote bank politics modi kind of leaders with guts can make terror guys run all the time
