Being a secular republic the nation do support all religions. Does not governement spend money on Kumbh Melas, Amarnath Yatras etc.....There is a misnsitry called " Muzrai" or "Endowment" ministry in states which takes care of maintenanace of Hindu temaples in the same way Wakf Ministry take care of Mosques. Thus, i do not think it is lopsided but made out so to spread communal hatred. Let us do equally for all and do not do it at all......

maintaining temple and mosque in india is totally different than paying for someone trip to haz. Most probable the goverment spend money on the temples that are under its control and not for private temples.. Will the government sponsor trips of jews to Israel etc..and if not then why mulsims are different..The only difference is that they are large in number and they vote as bunch so they can make difference in political fortune and thats y all parties are behind them

Hi, Kerala is the state where highest level of minority appeasement has been achieved. The government ( left and congress) takes out millions of rupees from hi- profile temples such as guruvayoor and sabarimalai by appointing non-believers into the Government run devaswom boards.Whereas teh same government would appease Muslims and Xtains here at any cost by letting all minority institutions under the cover minority rights. The muslims and Xtians are economically forward in the state and these religious institutions continue to attack the common infrastructure like education, jobs and land under various pretexts. Kerala is the case where minority appeasement has made hindus a minority.I wish this does not happen any other indian state. The moinorities work with an agenda. This can be seen well in kerala.

One REquest All Hindus Dont Vote to Congress,Communist,DMK,Lallu they have support from only muslims and christian voters so please dont vote to this parties
We have been hearing about Modi's leadrship, admisniatrative capability, oratorial skills etc. But at the same time we tend to overlook his weaknesses - arrogance, commuanl hatred, not being inclusive, dicatatorial etc.
Thus, we have to ask a question whether we need a leader who has this mixed baggage? How do we define development? Should not development be inclusive and involve all strata of society? Is developemnt means only big industries?
We are in a period in which all political parties have lost moral right. How can Congress who killed thosuands of Sikhs preach on morality to others? How can communists who killed poor peasants in Nandigram be holier than thou? However, there is a small difference between these parties and Modi. That is remorse. Both these parties publicly apologised for whatever happenned. But i do not see that happenning in BJP and Modi. Let me clarify that I do not hold any brief for Congress and Communists here.
Modi can become the leader this country needs if he shows compassion, humility and treat every Indian as equal. If he strives for an inclusive growth of all strata of Gujarati society. He has reached the pinnacle and now is the time for transformation. Can he do it? I am an optimist. We look forward to that change in the next five years and wish him all the best.
More than 4 years after getting lucky and ruling India again, the Gandhi family is slowly but surely unravelling completely, when it comes to political acumen and ability.First UP, and now Gujarat..In both cases, the party or the GAndhi's have shown the old, by now fatal flaw of being led by rootless advisors, and even the emglish media, much to it's own detriment. My fear is that each defeat will only make them look more to the communists for succour, a situation the communists will exploit to the hilt to cause irreparable damage to the nation.
The story is precise and excellent. In fact, the ultimate paragraph is written very well. We need more such leaders today than ever before,as all of them who cry for people wellfare amass wealth by corrupt means; let this mark the begining of a new era which should create public awareness and change of voting patern; let the 'secular-media-left-newspaers' nexus be thoroughly exposed which did not bring equitable devolopment to this great country for the past 50 years; let us not forget during all these years the cong ruled this country and even today they talk about 'equitable developement'.

The story is NOT ALL TRUE!!!...The wirter's bias is shown to be anti -modi, as it has always been, 'cause the statement that Modi' faught the election on emotive issue rather than real one's is totally foolish and false..We know that actual development has happened in Gujarat and there is always a threat of riots whenever the congress has ruled gujarat..she is actually a pseudo-indian...probably an agent of the " Spent Forces"...Anyway, now such ppl done matter....Narandra Modiji has won, despite of all the problems the media, and pseuo-secular forces tried to create for him and WON A VICTORY HE RIGHTLY DESERVES!!!
THe government is a reflection of the society at large.Reading the discussions, looking at the bold anti- muslim comments in a secular democracy, I can say that Modi's Gujarat is a strong reflection of Hitler's Germany. Like Hitler, who with his astute mind and magnetic personaility could propepel Germans to not only accept, but also encourage his atrocities,Modi has shrewdly, by focussing on Development, tried to overshadow his true agenda. It is indeed scary and sad to think that people can be brainwashed so clearly and that they can also be so self oriented.
Yes there has been economic progress and development, but isn't freedom to life, more important? And isn't development and progress more than just economic and administrative advancement?

You big idiot , it is only 1% less votes. He has lost 10 seats not 10% of votes. With people like you opposing Modi, he need not worry. Yeah you want to struggle so that you get a free license to convert all people by crook and tyranny

Forgive him. He only went to Bible class and learnt that the sun goes around the earth.
For sanity one needs balance. We must have parties like congress as a counter balance aganist BJP to keep a check.Otherwise we gonna loose our freedom & our democracy and become one party nation like China. In the same logic we do need a BJP to check congress going overboard.
