self-proclaimed intellectuals have been defeated in Gujarat today
by Surta Shabd on Dec 23, 2007 09:27 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Self-procliamed intellectuals of Gujarat have been defeated today as results are out. They include resident editor of self-proclaimed number one gujarati daily, who switches sides whenever required for his own survival, or the people who are interviewed by news channels like NDTV or CNN-IBN as authentic social researchers or academicians. The fact is that these people have no connection with the common people of Gujarat. They are only interested in maintaining their luxurious life styles at the cost of their own self-esteem, always ready to please their own bosses. Modi has emerged as a leader of Gujaratis who has shifted the focus of entire India on Gujarat - a state neglected for a long time and insulted as land of dhokla eating gujjus. Gujarat will become catalyst in developing India as it has always done in the past. And I request all to remember that Gujarat is for every one - the Hindu, the Muslim and all other religious minorities. Nobody is threatened here. Patels are smart enough. Nobody can victimize them to win elections. That's why they have voted for BJP. - from Surta Mehta, Ahmedabad

Very very well said. We are the most friendly people. Few incidents of Hindu-Muslim riots doesn't mirror the common Gujarati. Today is the day of Gujarat Pride's win.

Lesson for so called seculars: Love us or hate us but you can't ignore us!

Sheela Bhatt is Full of Garbage, So is Rediff
by san man on Dec 23, 2007 09:25 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Sheela Bhatt is just stooping to trash-talking, and Rediff is showing itself to be a kingpin of trash distribution. This wasn't about Modi's personality, it was about his decency being slandered by the Congress. How dare you maliciously call him a Personality Cult, when your wretched Congress Party of "Banyan Tree" fame is based on the Nehru-Gandhi family, who epitomize Personality Cults. How despicable of Rediff to spew such trash. There needs to be an advertising boycott against Rediff for its despicably low ethics.

I used to have respect for you when you started your career with such guts. Pan tame pan maatipagaa chho.

Congress
by human on Dec 23, 2007 09:25 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

For congress a victory is bcos of the dynasty and a defeat is someone elses fault
Modi despite all the pseudo secular media campaign against him scored an impressive victory and it only reflects his popularity and his acceptance.
I watched news before elections-the campaign by rajdeep sardesai,Burkha dutt,Roy had been vicious and against Modi-i wonder if these guys are paid by sonia and arabs

I fully agree to most of the comments by the readers. You journalists have still not learned the lessons. I totally disagree with your analysis.

You must go and talk to the people of Gujrat on why they love Modi and also why they hate Congress (Chamchon ki party)

It's time for YOU JOURNALISTS to introspect and think and not the true Indians of Gujrat

Journalists like Sheela Bhatt are like prostitutes. For their pay-package, they can change "Milk is white" to "Milk is black", and later will say, "Well, the cup was black".

SONIA HIDING FROM MEDIA-AS USUAL!
by Krish Koundy on Dec 23, 2007 09:08 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Congress reaction lines are always ready
IF CONGRESS FARES WELL ITS SONIA VICTORY, IF CONGRESS FARES BADLY THEN IT THE LOCAL CONGRESS LEADERS ARE RESPONSIBLE!
Congress unleashed brazen Sonia in to Gujarat polls. After her miserable failure, Sibals & Singhvis are now in Save Sonia mission. They will now say that Sonia is national leader and a state election results are not testimony to her popularity. It is like saying you made me bite the dust, but Im. still the winner!
Sonia bought and used the media to fight Modi. NOw she is hiding from the same media.

It is sure that Gujarat Elections have reduced Sonia to be a losing regional satrap and Narendra Modi to be a triumphant national leader, who will be out future prime minister.

Sheela Bhat, in all your past articles you had been writing against Modi and the BJP, now suddenly switching sides??
you have to eat your own sh*it now.

You are a yellow-journalist. What? You did not marry? Who will marry a horse like you?

Sorry for being rough. I think, those who switch sides taking advantage of the current, deserve this.

This post may be indicative of serious nature of loss of Bharatiya values thanks to dirty Hindutva politics of atheist LKA and Modi.

The Hindutva of RSS is surely not of this kind, the Hindutva of RSS reflects essence of Sanatana Dharma. It does not deviate from shishtachar.

RSS has made significant contribution to civil norms and inhibit such indecent behaviour within traditional society.

The leftist and secular politicians who conveniently cordoned RSS using communal card for political gains may end up doing a long term damage to civic society if they do not nurture positive contribution of RSS and vibe with its discipline.
