They claim the good work of local administration for this what a great feat ! Nowhere in the world a CEC claims victory for handling elections peacefully in the State of Mahatma Gandhi !!
CEC explained above has proved how partisan they could be by first issuing notices to Modi. And when the world cried hoarse they routinely send notices to Sonia Ma'm.

The lady has outsmarted you, Narendra, and shortchanged the Gujarat - the sufferers are the industries using gas in Gujarat. It is Gujarat ultimately made to suffer because of its political leaning.

Really the election commissions manned by mr. lingdo and aftermath are doing excellant job with out yielding to the pressure of ruling party in power.no doubt mr. K.J. RAO . MAY NOT BE AA SENIOR AND DECISSION TAKING OFFICIAL IN the commission his peformance is laudable. actually the commission should have used his servicestill he is able to perform.may he might have become an eyesour to mr. laluand may not be liking his contenues.mr. kjrao deserves an highest award for his uprightness and boldness.but it is very unfortunate that such persons are not liked by the present brand of politiciansas they are becoming GALE KI HADDI.

This forum was completely dominated by RSS, VHP, BJP, SHIV SENA and all other fanatic people prior to Gujrat elections to support BJP. This fanatics used abusive language for the people who supported congress or other party appart from BJP... This fanatics call themself true Indians, who can use bad words against fellow indians only beacuse they were not supporting BJP???? What is the conclusion now.... even though after hectic Campaigning for BJP it seems BJP is loosing ground in Gujrat.. it is beacuse we Indians are not dumbs to succumb to this fanatics and support BJP (the communal party, confirmed by USA) My dear fellow country men... support a party which you feel is better, never get Influenced by this type online Campaigning. Each and every vote counts, kindly vote for the party which fought for our freedom from the british and not for the party which wants to spread communal hatreat amongst we Indians.... See also the development under congress rule... its the 2nd largest economy in the world after china , it is under congress rule... Please always vote for the best and for the party which works towards development...

I think , CEC needs to spend some more time in Gujarat, he is making gr8 claim abaout a state which has a proven track record of peaceful elections! Yes, there are some pockets in the state (hardly 1% of the state) which witnesses the communal tensions, so why equate Gujarat with West Bengal, UP or Bihar. Presence of larger number of security force was a surprise for most of us in Gujarat as it put us in doubt if everything was ok with Election Commission. Stop humiliating Gujarat spirit of co-existing everywhere with everybody.

Keeping criminals away from politics is easy. Don't vote for them.
If a law is passed to keep criminals away from politics, the ruling party will file case (and do whatever required) against the opposition to make them criminals legally. These things should be decided by the majority to ensure that we have a fair system.

the nect thing CEC must do is to ensure that the influcence of money and muscle power is removed completely.
Do not get surprised by the heading, But this could be exactly media would have been crying if a small incidence of booth capturing/ poll violence might have been registered. Gujarat is not UP / Bihar. Why commissionar is taking credit for free and fair election? It is a tradition in Gujarat, all past election were free,fair and without violence. Bogus voting, booth capturing are the words u will not hear in Gujarat elections. Question is why media is silent about this? In case there was a small incidence of violence/booth capyuring/or bogus voting, it would have been interesting to see, what would have been 'secular' media's reaction?

If after congress rigging this election, percentage votes for Modi may reduce, but will still win. Such is his popularity now. Or should I say so much is what people hate congress. Because of Congress's misgovernance at the centre all these years, BJP will win by default.
