Obviously biased - that's what EC is. This is not a new thing. Earlier, they had found nothing wrong with holding elections in Kashmir while they delayed elections in Gujarat - as if gujarat, the most peaceful state in India - is as unsafe and terrorised as Kashmir, the most dangerous one.
The election commission failed to assert itself. If the leaders had violated then why did they stop taking action? They should have banned Modi and Sonia from contesting next elections. Sadly the comments too are biased. Perhaps they too are scared of madam Sonia! Gone are the days when TN Seshan had singlehandedly raised the stature of the EC of India

Mr. Haider, The main difference between Hindu and Muslim religion is that Hindus treat all religins equally and don't hate any religion, while Islam, through Kouran, teaches to punish all other than muslims as Kafars. Nobody should have any grudge for other religion provided they care for betterment of courtry they live in.
