It is not always advisable to exhibit our military skills to a country like China which always preferes to stab the enemy from the back.
I always accept George Fernandes opinion, "CHINA IS THE ENENY NO 1". Afterall, Pakistan is not a nation it is just a creation, which can disintegrate any time because of its creation of jihadi elements.

Mr. Sathya :with due respect to your opinion I would like to disagree. I believe that we must realize that there are no permanent enemies or friends in international relations. China has changed like all other countries and so there is nothing wrong in taking a moderate stand vis-a-vis relations with China. If China wants good relationship with India we must welcome it for the benefit of both nations, but at the same we should not decrease our security preparadness.

From your statement, it is not clear from what angle is China a bigger threat to India than Pak. If you say that China is the biggest threat to India, then they cannot have a better chance of rounding up the Indian military force when the military drill is going on in their own land. I think Pak will besiege us in the same situation.
